Not to mention, how many rewards has Dave had that Russell hasn't? The shortest and fattest man is able to lose everyone else? When Russell took off, and Dave followed, why didn't Laura sit there and look for the idol. Why didn't they get the other Galu to go out looking for it while Dave was chasing Russell? Unfortunately, you were given the wrong reason the first time why it should be outrun. The get locution calls for an adjective or a past participle, and the past participle for outrun is also outrun. It doesn't matter what tense "get" is in, the word with it is always the same.
