Okay, that pretty much confirms it. No way would CBS be wasting money on hiring people to read applications if they're not going ahead with S21.
Of course, they probably hire monkeys or illiterate people to go through the applications but still.... |

Survivor is still very much a well watched show....anyway you cut it...in this day and age it would be stupid for CBS to risk taking it off the air
But lets just say next TV season NBC brings itself around and puts on shows that start getting 25-30 million viewers a week (lets just say) and they want to cancel Survivor...you think they would film ANOTHER ASS season to kind of end the show on some kind of bang? Hatch would be able to compete....as well as many winners. Either take it in a direction of Winners (obviously Hatch/Heidik/Amber/Todd/whoever) vs. Ultimate All-Stars (Cirie/Ozzy/Colby/Kathy/Rupert/Steph...people who have played a couple of times....to lower the animosity rate, someone like Todd played once and won once but Steph will have her 4th opportunity at 1 million) or use 16-20 people we have never seen in an ASS season (Kelly W., Kelly G., Helen, Dreamz., Adam G., Boo, Rafe, Burton, Sean R., Teresa etc). Idk I would just rather have Survivor end now (on Season 20) then on S22 or S24 with just a random group with a random theme. |

well obviously none of us would be here if we wnated Survivor to end... I hope it keeps going on but I agree the last season should be an ultimate all star
version. The most fitting would be a Survivor Winners edition, even though it seems highly unlikely.

I think the problem is we have 11 male winners and 7 women winners. They can't have a winners season with uneven genders as one tribe would have a huge
advantage.
Rich, Tina, Jenna, Sandra, Tom, Parvati, Todd, Bob, JT would all come back for a winners edition but I just can't see the following coming back: Ethan - Surely he is too ill to do this in the next few years Brian - He has fell out with the show Vecepia - I just can't see it Dannii - She seems to have gone missing Yul - I've heard he has some high flying job, I doubt he would get months off Earl - It is a possibility It is also looking highly likely another man will win Samoa and that S20 could reproduce a former winner, so don't expect a winners edition anytime soon. |

I would rather an all star season with no twists.
They brought back players because we(/they) liked them or they were interesting...SO LET US SEE THEM. 16-20 all stars. One person voted out each episode. 2 tribes. Merge at 10. FINAL 2. Thats it. NO exile island or HII...a waste of time and at the end of the day it is not fair. |

Survivor 20 would be the way to end it but I"m glad there not.... Survivor still get's good ratings so I don't see why they would cancel the show
soon... the day probst leaves is probably when the show is gone.... They should do something huge for an all stars season though... Survivor 20 may be big, but
the cast isn't amazing... For the last season they should do something huge and atleast bring back 20 of the most entertaining/strategic people.

people that were interesting/entertaining (can't miss people)
