I am also tired of hearing week after week how Kimbo might be filling in. What makes me more annoyed is that the first round fights were so bad he would probably be the one to deserve it

You don't usually expect 'exciting' fights from heavy weights, but when it comes to fights, I think this may be, by far, the most boring season
ever.
And that's all because of Kimbo. Or more like, all because Dana filled the season with mostly 'bad' fighters like former NFL players with little MMA experience so that Kimbo could have a chance. Fuck Dana! And Fuck Rampage for playing BA in the 'A Team' movie. Now I can't even watch and enjoy that damn movie! |

Anyone watch UFC 105?
I love Denis Kang so much that watching him lose like that was heartbreaking. He's been through so much in life and I've so wanted him to do well in UFC. As for Randy, well, he's one of my favorite fighters of all time and I'm happy he won. But he's like 47 now. When is he gonna retire? I can't believe there are young guys who still want to fight Randy. If you're an MMA fighter in your 20s or 30s and fight Randy, isn't it kind of a lose/lose situation no matter what? If you win, you win against a guy almost 50 years old. So, it's no big deal. If you lose, you lose to a guy almost 50 years old. What a fucking shame! ETA: Oh, and Randy, my God I can't believe I'm about to say this but he's so frigging SEXY despite his age!!!!

So I finally watched this week's episode...
B.O.R.I.N.G. fight. I thought that for pure gumption alone, Wren should have had the points. He kept Nelson on the defensive for most of the fight, even when they were gassed in round two. But oh well. And I want to add...Mitrione is a pussy. That is all. |

Sorry, I love ya Sentinel Heart but Randy lost to Vera. Only the judges didn't agree with me. All he did was lean on Vera against the cage. Vera did the
most damage. I have to give Michael Bisping props, even though I don't like him, for his come from behind win against Denis Kang. I didn't like Matt
Brown when he was on TUF, but he's grown on me and I have to give him mad props for outlasting and beating James Wilks (TUF UK vs. USA winner) in the best
fight on the free card.

Lesnar is really sick. Apparently he's got Mono and there might be other complications.

He kept Nelson on the defensive for most of the fight, even when they were gassed in round two. Nelson was on the defensive before the fight even began, due to his "minimal damage" approach to the fight. Dana must despise the guy after two boring fights in a row. |

Lesnar getting his ass kicked by mono? Least expected thing ever.

Also, I don't want to see him getting weaker and weaker every fight. One of these days, he'll probably have to leave UFC by getting knocked out all bloody. How awful! As for younger fighters who still want to fight Randy who's almost 50, well, the only one who can fight him and come out looking like a great winner would be Antonio Nogueira. Only because he looks older than Randy althought he's in his mid 30s. Btw, anyone watching UFC 106 now? I didn't know Antonio Nogueira had a twin brother. |

Skinny Nogueira fought like Frankenstein.

We're cool Sentinel.
Big Nog has an identical twin brother, OTW known as lil Nog, the guy who won tonight. I'm so happy to see Koscheck beat up Johnson. Hopefully Forrest shuts up Tito tonight! |

Forrest beat Tito!!!! It was a tough fight, but overall, Forrest definitely won. Round 3 was all Forrest. Adding up the prelims on Spike, it was a solid PPV
show.

You just can't help loving this guy!!!!! |

Saunders and George S. are clearly the only good fighters to come out of the Serra/Hughes season. Sorry Mac.
Edited to add: By good I mean some worthwhile potential, and able to do some damage in their respective divisions in the future.

Matt C wrote: Didn't happen The mystery surrounding Brock Lesnar's illness is finally beginning to fade away. UFC president Dana White flew to Bismarck, MD today to visit Lesnar in his post-op room. Lesnar, who had to pull out of what was suppose to be this Saturday's event vs. Shane Carwin, had to undergo surgery to help solve a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract. "The family was worried big time, they were freaking out," White said. "Brock was in big pain, he was hurting." "He had a hole in his intestine," White also said. "The (stuff) was leaking into his stomach. That's what was causing him so much pain. That and he had abscesses." So... his organs were actually failing him and he almost died, I'm sure he'll come back I just hope they don't do a stupid interim title. |

Supposedly from what I read he had that hole for almost a year, it wasn't until recently it caused him any pain and illness for it to be diagnosed, and he
still beat Couture and Mir with that, damn.

Delores Mulva wrote:The Nelson/Wren fight was not boring I thought it was the best fight of the season. But Dana's pissed for a number of reasons when it comes to Nelson. I hope this is Dana's attempt to make Nelson a "bad guy" and give him "heat" like they did with other wrestlers like Koschek and Hughes but I don't know. |
