It's not impossible that she spent a lot of time searching the bridge after Russell found the HII. She's not saying she knows for a fact that she searched there first so surely that's the most likely explanation?

No, Russell didn't go on that reward. Then again, neither did Laura.
Russell went on the next one. Still, maybe Russell searched before Laura did, or, as many have said, had good timing and searched the bridge after they planted it, which they probably did while half the contestants were on that reward. Russell is smart, and if production kept the left-behind contestants away from the bridge or camp for a while (interviews, whatever excuse, obviously they isolate them for those "personal interviews" we see, at the very least) then Russell would certainly hightail it to where ever they weren't allowed to go. I just don't buy the rigging on this one, especially after watching Laura and the blond sunbathing and chilling before that vote, or listening to Brett's latest interview where he admits to leisurely strolling around the camp a bit to look for the latest idol. It would be a hell of a risky thing for the producers to do, and I think Russell is on the ball enough to find the things on his own. |

Everyone on Galu made fun of and excluded Shambo, not just Laura. Russell S. sent her to Foa Foa twice because she lost the chicken. Erik and John had no
respect for her (she might as well vote for Probst) and rightfully so, the woman is delusional. When Erik says he doesn't like the way Laura treated Shambo
he needs to look in the mirror.
As far as people hating on Laura I just don't get it. The woman may come off as a tad obnoxious but in my opinion she's just a very self confident person who tells it like it is, and I respect that. Russell is a creepy bully and didn't like that Laura told him off about his lack of power. Power he never would have acquired if not for the infinite cycle of idols placed at his feet by the producers. Why do they think people love to hate Russell, the guy has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. At least Hatch and Fairplay were entertaining and Brian was legitimately ruthless and without a conscience. Russell comes off as desperate for attention and his evil actions don't seem genuine. I would enjoy him much more if I believed he was enjoying watching the people suffer and could laugh about their misfortune. He just talks strategy all the time and it's annoying; do you even have a personality? Being "evil" and calling everyone a dumbass is not a personality. That's why I liked Laura, because at least she has a personality. Even if you think she's a bitch, respect that this injured (slightly torn achilles) 40 year old mother of three was a challenge beast. She was clearly the best social player on her tribe and was the de facto leader of Galu even when Russell S. was there. I thought I was going to hate this woman because I usually strongly dislike religious people but Laura is badass. She's not the prototypical preachy, sheep like religious person but rather a non preachy individual thinker who just happens to like a fictional man. So what, she's got the best body i've ever seen on a 40 year old woman, beauty implants and to top it all off she rides a harley to the grocery store. She's outspoken and confident to the point of being cocky and hates russell the creepy midget. i think i'm in love |

So what I got from her interviews was:
1. She knew John was coming after her all along, but instead they voted out Erik. 2. 22 year old women need to be told what to do. 3. She's a five-year-old in the body of a 40+ year-old, seeing she actually said to someone, "You're not the boss of me." |
