Remove this ad this episode was pretty good, actually. appreciated the doors music, and the twist at the end i personally didn't see coming, although i felt like i should've. i liked the scene with scottie and lil, but they're definitely making it quite obvious that they want us to think scottie is going to what, shoot the guy? he doesn't even know who he is yet. i was kind of surprised they decided to resolve who killed moe so quickly rather than let it remain a mystery for a while. next week with the wedding looks interesting though. nice to see lil all dressed up haha.

If this is going to be cancelled come May, they might as well pull off a shocker. And if by some grace of God it's not cancelled, it's not like they can't find a replacement detective, or just deal with 4, since it would only be for one more season anyway.

First, we had the episode with Jeffries threatening to kill the truck driver who accidentally killed his wife in a hit and run. Next, there was the extremely long story line of Lil and Baldwin. That ended so it became Scotty's turn with his mom's rapist/mugger. Last night was Nick's turn. Geez, they need to give it a rest. This used to be one of my favorite shows, especially the episodes where they were solving older cases.

Last I saw he got a fake medical report, then after that was the episode the next one I saw was when Scotty went all apeshit on du.des ass and they mentioned Nck wasn't around (last week's I think).

Dad had escaped the burning house but when he broke the windows to try to get in to the boys, the flames went out of control. Nick was sure it was arson and murder; fire marshall agreed with him, and the guy was convicted. He died in prison (stabbed by other inmates). Turns out the house had faulty wiring and the dad was innocent. Nick tried to drink off the guilt, crashed his car, and disappeared trying to solve the case. The dad's parents and brother ended up slamming the door in Nick's face. End result was Nick turning in his gun.

Remove this ad I just watched the two TBC eps in sequence and thought they were as good a pair of CC eps ever made. The killer was wonderfully understated, everything made sense at the end, and even though yeah it was obvious that the bitch on wheels FBI chick was the 1980 tube top girl -- and dayum I miss 70's/80's tube tops -- the way the second round of victims dovetailed into the story was absolutely brilliant. Nice job, Cold Case! I suspect that this doubleheader will be the last great moment from the franchise, which I hope isn't true but if so, what an outstanding way to go out. Loved no more cweepy military academy stalker killer anymore. Or Mommy rapists. Or d-bag Lil love interests. Just a pair of eps doing what this show does best, and doing it with old school CC excellence. I wonder if bitch on wheels FBI agent will stick around. I loved the way she crushed the poor schmucks who'd just lost a loved one the killer -- "we're not Facebook friends." On the downside, it looks from the previews like Lil will another ill-advised romance, this time with the gasbag FBI boss guy. I wonder if he loves cats?

Great news, but suprising! The Woodstock ep was kind of a stretch, but I like how they pulled it off. I don't see how the daughter of an Army Colonel at the time would become a FBI informant though. Plus, if she was a legitimate lefty of the 60's, wouldn't she already be involved with such groups? I like the newer side stories a lot more now that the murdering military academy guy is gone. FBI HBIC is an awesome character. I've had The Band's The Weight stuck in my head since finishing the ep.

And of course it was obvious when the police chief's car was ID'd at the killing of the girl, that former druggie son was to blame. Wow. The sister hadn't shown up in four seasons or so and they drag her back for the finale? Interesting choice. I would've thought there'd be some blowback from the cweepy military academy major's death. But whatevs. Apparently, the final Stones song has never been released. Anybody know if it's new or from the back catalog? I hope this isn't it for CC. ETA: anybody notice that in the prom queen ep, during the ghost reveals at the end, when they flashbacked from 2010 fat loser Colester polishing his decrepit silver Mustang to 1989 douchebag Colester polishing the Mustang, the car was brand new in the '89 shot? Wasn't a bad show, but I didn't like it because the murderers got away with their crimes in some cases for 40 years - where is the justice in that? They live their lives free as a bird for 40 years and then get caught and go to jail as an old man or woman. Also I might have missed an episode, how did the Fat Baldwin storyline get wrapped up?
