I found myself laughing today about Lindsay Buckingham still sitting on that chair waiting for his turn on the talk show "What Up With That". And
that they invited him back from the last time he was cut due to no more time.

I had a few good laughs with this last episode of SNL. I think the digital short threw me at first. Not totally paying attention I thought they lost it with
Kenan playing Reba. Then I got the joke and really liked it. I had not seen the previous What's Up With That sketch, so I thought it worked on it's
own. I am gaining more respect for Al Gore. He can get a point across and laugh at himself... that's something that I really appreciate in people. WU
almost always has something worth while.. I just miss Amy. Seth is good, but I always liked it better when there were two anchors.

I finally watched the whole JGL show, and frankly, it wasn't any better than the universally reviled January Jones episode. In fact, the Jones show had
more funny skits. Looks like you enjoy fart jokes or soured on the entire episode because of the Rear Window skit (BTW, I just got the "Rear Window"
pun). It's not like Taylor Swift was any less stiff than Jones.
Aside from the cold open (which was funny but suffered from being bloated and overlong), the Palin 2012 trailer (which should have been funnier) and the (in my mind) classic Reba Digital Short, the JGL episode was fairly mediocre. |
