I liked Adam on AI, more than Kris to start out even (I hated Kris as many Kristards will recall) and the redeeming qualities Adam had for me were that he was a talented vocalist and he seemed like a cool/nice guy. Now he's proved to be a douchebag and in his first major live performance to promote his album that's how he sounds, really? That sounded like fucking shit. Also, a rough sex anthem as your debut single, really? Is that really a wise move? It doesn't help that the song also sucks so the subject matter is questionable and it makes your ears bleed. If you're going to push the envelope you should actually show some talent while doing it, and produce GOOD envelope pushing songs, not pieces of shit like FYE. Its so blatantly obvious that he's just trying to see how far he can go with no purpose and nothing redeeming or entertaining about it, at least not to me. Also I also have to lol at him calling ABC discriminatory of all the networks on TV. Isn't ABC the ONLY network on TV that showcases gays and lesbians on their shows, in prime time no less and not to mention in a positive light?

music is popular nowadays). Last night's performance just made him seem like a cheap, gimmicky singer. It just might have sunken his career, or at least
one in which he is viewed as a serious artist pushing the box musically.
Yuck. It's too embarrassing for me to even watch the performance. |

Like someone already mentioned in this thread, I also feel completely vindicated. Adam's performance was sorely needed reminder of everything that I
despised about him, and I'm glad that it was broadcast nationwide and to a different audience outside of "American Idol". I'm not necessarily
put off by any of the homoerotica or any of that junk....it was the fact that it was fueled by pure shock value and nothing more. There was nothing creative
about that trainwreck. It was merely an exercise in seeing how many gay references a person can stuff into a single performance. Adam got greedy and it came
off as a vile, disgusting moment of complete and utter fail.
And the vocals. Dear God, that was the shrillest, messiest vocal performance of an Idol in recent memory. I always hated Adam particularly for this very reason, but I never thought that he could sound this horrible. The screeching, the overdone note at the end.....EVERYTHING. So glad he did this. |

They still cost the same on Itunes, where he is doing pretty well today. Why buy it on itunes when you can get it for 1/4 the price? |
