CBS has been playing around with timelines in every season. I wouldn't be surprised that they did it again. The edit "showed" that Russell outran Dave and circled around to the idol's hiding spot, but I think he found it later that day or even the next day. Remember that they "edited" Russell finding the first HII before Yasmin arrived at FF with the clue, but beard growth and swimsuits showed that he found it afterwards.

Before you saw last night's episode, did you know Russell found the Idol a third time?
We didn't actually witness him finding it, but we pretty much knew. You saw the whole cat-and-mouse chase through the jungle. I would say that lasted about an hour and the next thing we saw was him in the hammock, just hanging out. He practically had the mouse's tale hanging out of his mouth.

Gross revenue is a lot different from profit; I wouldn't waste too much disgust. (Wonder how much President Bongo was making? Wonder how much of what MB
and them dropped in Gabon ended up in their family business?)

What surprises me this season is just how invisible many of the male characters are. We saw more of Mick in the re-crap then we saw for 10 previous episodes.
Brett is just a deer caught in headlights. No wonder he's been invisible. If Natalie wins, it would be karmic justice as she seems to be the one person
Russell is really underestimating.

Why wouldn't Russell just laugh and say he lied to Mick about being a millionaire to try and gain Mick's trust. Say that he knew Mick was educated and
wouldn't follow somebody who wasn't successful (since Russell doesn't have the education), so he made up the fact he's a millionaire.

How are recap show ratings compared to regular episode ratings? Considering TPTB decide having a show on Thanksgiving isn't a ratings winner, why have
something of jury consequence saved for the recap show rather than airing it in a regular episode? Why didn't they air the Russell/Mick conversation when
it happened if it plays out at the jury?

Probably because they wanted to maintain the illusion that FatRuss is in control. The Insider has shown he's pretty much a vocal alliance member rather
than a puppet master, and that F-F is onto him being slimey.
