Mick is UTR post-merge because he doesn't win. The same thing happened with Crystal and Taj, didn't it? Good airtime during the first half, but once the merge hits, they were mostly irrelevant and their airtime dropped significantly. Same thing with Mick.

If you look at the Winner's chart, Mick is clearly lacking in 3 major areas so far.

1 -- All winners, except for Chris, beat Mick for tone (after 10 episodes).
2 -- All winners beat Mick for post-merge visibility.
3 -- If you look at all the winners from Eps 1-7 and then from 8-14, you'll see a bunch of UTR's in the first half and then a bunch of CP's (and other high visibility edits) for the second half. Mick's is essentially the opposite, and that has not happened for a winner, ever, except Vecepia, who is the most forgotten winner ever and a FEMALE. Male winners, if they aren't already hogging screentime before the merge, pick up much more after the merge. And even Bob, the most UTR winner ever, picked up heavily after the merge. There's no reason why Mick shouldn't be as well, unless he's the male version of Vecepia, which is impossible cos the Survivor editors would never give a male winner an edit like that.

I think people are only saying Mick is the "best Edgic pick" because he's a young male with a MORP3 premiere and no INV's. I wasn't aware that those were the primary guidelines for Edgic, but I guess the past few seasons do reflect that, then again. Marcus, Stephen, Mick.

And Cindi, my winner picks have been: Cassie for Fiji, PG/Todd/Courtney for China, Parvati for Micro, Corinne/Kenny for Gabon, Sierra for Tocantins, and now Russell H./Liz for Samoa. The only one I've gotten right 100% was Parvati, but then again, most Edgicers actually have also only gotten 1 or 2 seasons correct since Cooks/Fiji. And if you're wrong, you're wrong. Marcus is technically no better of an Edgic winner pick than Paloma, because never of them won, and isn't that the point? Almost doesn't count.
