Yeah, those last few posts were quite amusing.
Does TV MA LSD or whatever always randomly get hostile toward people who don't agree with its opinion about shitty pointless plotlines?TV has never been hostile with me when we disagree. *shrug* (Brittany who?)

I have been sticking with this show, because I am intrigued by it and I enjoy it. I thought last week's episode was one of the better ones, as I am
enjoying the development of the other characters in this show and getting to know their background leading up to the blackout and their motivation after it.
And now ABC has gone ahead and shut down production???? Now, I am getting PISSED OFF!!! They better not cancel this before we find out what the hell has been going on. ETA: Just checked the last couple of pages to make sure no one has already posted this. I don't trust those network bastards.

A 6 day break? I'm not worried. I finally watched the latest episode and found it very Lost-like, as others have said. It doesn't top the suicide
episode but it was pretty good.

I like it okay. I only remember to watch it on Hulu though. Perhaps that makes a difference? For a chick paranoid that Jericho is coming to kill her you'd
think she'd want to stay sober and ready to high tail it out of Dodge so I don't get her drinking but otherwise none of the people are acting too weird
for me to stay connected except for the random kangaroo gig. That Lost like joke can just stop.

See, I thought the guy drowning Nicole looked like Bryce. She said that in her FF she felt like she deserved it/was being punished and that she had done
something bad. My brother said maybe she does something to Keiko because she wants Bryce ( who wouldn't?), thus destroying the chances for Bryce's FF
to happen and her FF was actually what was going to happen once he found out.
I truly hope not because I really like Keiko. |

I compared this show to Heroes early on and I think I was bang on. It has lots of unrealized potential, but I doubt it will get better. The cliffhangers are
great, but the writing and acting are mediocre.

Maybe this is how Flash Forward should have approached things from the beginning, the problem is that none of the characters are interesting! I think FF would have a little trouble with that. LOST began with a concept that seemed simple (These people crashed on an island! There's a monster in the woods!), so they could take their time getting to the ridiculous parts (Oh, by the way, the island is a magical place that moves around the world, and at least 3 immortal beings inhabit it), whereas FF began with the ridiculous (The entire world FF'd for 2 minutes and 17 seconds), and is trying to add character development around it. In fact, I feel like them going for the more LOST-like season one, with characters interacting and being realistic, is one of the things holding it down. Some of the weakest spots are happening because people are totally ignoring the blackout, giving us great character insight, but little continuity. For example, Bryce's upbeat attitude about the girl and his tumor; you don't think he knows at least one person who died, or is concerned about national security on top of being happy? Or Olivia and Mark's arguments; you don't think that, since the entire damn world blacked out and for whatever insane, plothole-ish reason, your husband is on the only team making leeway on it's investigation, you could stop being pissed that he's at work all the time? I kinda stop posting about shows I don't like. Indeed. Sometimes I even stop posting about shows I do like! Stupid life getting in the way of my internet forums... |

I think most of us here get that, sloan.
For a post or two or 20. Then... after that point? We just don't want to hear it anymore. Some here are nice. They suggest that they don't post to shows they don't like. They offer subtle hints to get you assholes to back off.. Hoping the assholes among us will get it. I suspect these posters are women. The kinder and gentler of our species.
