Their blood splatter expert is a serial killer who was related to another serial killer (who happened to date a junior investigator who was also the blood splatter expert's sister), their head lieutenant once dated a murderer and now openly lies about a relationship to keep her job, said junior investigator previously dated an informant AND an FBI special agent (now dead by a killer at large), and now another investigator is sleeping with the daughter of yet another serial killer. In fact, the only member of this team untainted with criminal or suspicious activity is their resident pervert.

I did not see that as hypersexual at all.. but posing. Perhaps I work with kids too much and hear way worse than that offer.. and also I know that kid she has grown up real pretty (NOT PERV HERE) .... but I don't recall where I seriously can't take much more of this season....

I saw the lock on the window and door as a way to keep her for his filthy personal use just as much as I saw them as keeping her from the real world influences.

Just when I think the season is heading into familiar OK this is what happens next territory, they deploy a twist that scrambles the plot and when the dust settles, they do it again. Trinity not a lone wolf, but a family man? Trinity a do-gooder, socially adapted? Trinity a sociopathic father to the family? Who tried to commit suicide? And now there's the likelihood of a second family? And that's just the Trinity line. This season is the opposite of linear storytelling, and I am enthralled. Best season yet, so far.

I loved Jimmy Smits but there was always this feeling of watching Jimmy Smits, not his character. Lithgow has been seemless. Debilitate TRINITY and then save the little boy! ARGH!

Posts: 3164 (11/30/09 7:00 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	This season is going to be hard to top and follow, it is so amazing. I love this cat and mouse thing going on. I wasn't sure he was going to save that boy and I'm so glad he did. I don't know what Dexter is going to do to keep his involvement hidden. He is going to have to kill Trinity in some way to make it look like a suicide or something. At this point, Trinity cannot just disappear and float away with the Gulf Stream. Once Dexter used the police to track Arthur's car with the license plate he really connected himself to this mess. Trinity has to commit "suicide" at the hands of Dexter or somehow go down at the hands of the police where he is shot and killed or something. It has to be wrapped up neatly so there is not too much further investigation. And we STILL don't know what the handmade casket is for. I really thought it was going to be for the boy, but if he sinks them all in concrete, then the casket is still a mystery. The previews look freaking awesome with Trinity now hunting down Dexter for stopping him from completing his cycle of kills. Trinity on a psychotic rampage and discovering Dexter's identity . . . I cannot wait. And what further twist can there be? I can't even imagine what it will be.
