They showed Cycle 2 this weekend and it was interesting to see how they still hadn't worked all the kinks out yet. What struck me most though was how each
girl really, really, really wanted it. Sarah's elimination? April's? Just doesn't happen these
days...(probably because they know winning is useless but still). Other stuff that stuck out:
--I always figured Shandi was supposed to be the winner; she got the glam makeover, took amazing shots and had an amazing storyline. Then the HotTubIncident happened, CoverGirl balked and they couldn't ignore her bad walk. Plus Yoanna's helmet pic. --YoAnna not "remembering" Heather's name and not taking her on the dinner --Mercedes was kind of a brat
--The Janascia "sleeping in" drama...how did that even happen? I think I read somewhere that April wanted to go up and get her but the producers wouldn't let her. Still, do it before! --YoAnna's fall during Tyra's video shoot
--Camille was gorgeous in fact--they all were...girls with modeling potential who would have thunk it --YoAnna's "eating disorder" and the dinner drama reminiscent of cycle 1 and her awkward "I'm just stealing soap" answer --Tyra actually still being involved, Mr. J and Nigel looking younger (and less bitchier) |

I caught some of the Cycle 11 marathon this weekend. Sam has to be the worst 2nd place contestant in the show's history. If only Hannah hadn't sucked
at walking or Isis being Isis and Sam would have been out for annoying that admittedly douchy designer with the ugly clothing line. Lauren Brie may not have
been a very dynamic girl at panel (neither was McKey, who was, well a plausible winner) but she should have gone over to Amsterdam instead of Sam.

Yeah, Sam is probably the most surprising f2'er for me...especially considering there was Elina, Marjorie & Annaleigh that could have easily slid in
their. Although Marjorie's Amsterdam breakdown was so manic it's no surprise she left when she did....and Elina could just not let.go. And I never noticed the irony that they booted Lauren Brie for having no personality when all they could come up with
McKey's was she wore "interesting" clothes to panel

With that being said I still prefer Sam to Chantal: 
It's not that I don't "get" why she was there, she's pretty, took ok pictures and blah blah blah but she was so affected. And boring. And kind of had a sense of entitlement. I just never got the fuss over her. |
