Although I'd gladly watch [Secret Girlfriend] then Leno at 10:30 In all honesty I think most of us would rather watch Leno. Where do these daily ratings come from? Just AICN, or where do they get it from? |

Max receives them from gnomes during the wee early hours of the morning?

I hate to say it, I watched lest night with AHHHHHnuld and Lady Gaga. with them abandoning the old format and doing essentially Leno's tonight show
(Monologue, Headlines, Interview, bit with interviewee, and then mucical act) it was actually somewhat watchable.
Gotta love that now they've abandonded almost any pretense that this is now a different show though. |

President Obama's address on Afghanistan interrupted Tuesday night's 8 p.m. hour, after which CBS continued to pull in the highest average viewership with two repeats and The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Work it, girl (Give a twirl)! NBC earned the highest Adults 18-49 rating for the night by far, though, with a later-than-usual installment of The Biggest Loser that handily outperformed The Jay Leno Show's usual numbers from 10-11 p.m. Viewership for the debut of ABC's revamped Scrubs fell off 33 percent from the series' season 8 debut this January.

Is this show still on?
May be a dumb question and I don't care about Jay Leno enough to go google this, but will this show work on the same schedule that the Tonight Show worked with regards to new episodes/hiatus? Or more along the lines of regular fall/spring tv seasons? |

Leno is like popcorn. Light, non-filling. If it's there, I'll eat it. But I won't go out of my way to make it or buy it.

So the business proposition was that Jay would be able to compete in ratings vs reruns. Yet he still loses. My question is what are ABCs and CBSs costs for airing reruns? While it costs more to produce the original hour of programming, are they paying anything to reair it, thus pocketing all the ad revenue? Does Leno make NBC a profit every night it airs? Last, now that it's official Comcast is buying NBC/Universal, what does this bode for Leno? Will Comcast take the money or want more original programming that they can earn ancillary profits off of? |

* "Leno" again matched its Thursday low, again beaten badly by a "Mentalist" repeat. NBC Universal chief Jeff Zucker just told CNBC that Leno has had a "greater impact" on NBC affiliates as a lead-in for local news than expected. "That's obviously something we're assessing," he allowed:

I do not understand why Jeff Zucker is appearing at CNBC instead of a line at the unemployment office.
