The only parts I found funny were Allen's attempts to get hair. Seeing the dye dripping down his face was funny, and the end when he turned into monkey man, that made me laugh. Chelsea needs to go away, she's ruining the Charlie we've come to know and love.

Loved how Alan couldn't resist singing along, and just had to get the last line in. Cheers to Carl Reiner. Funny I didn't notice the thing with the pillows. IA about minimal Chelsea and maximum Evelyn.

The new project I'm sure is designed to lead in to 2.5 & BBT, despite his former star Jenna Elfman occupying 8:30 (and btw, anyone else think that the only reason she got that plum spot was because Mr. Lorre said she could?) and then all he has to do is wait, silently, like an old school assassin, until HIMYM becomes Now That You've Met Your Mother. Dominance, utter dominance, will be his. Anyhow, I loved the Xmas ep, but I'm finally marathoning season 3 -- the Xmas ep with psycho cooking perfect chick was awesome.� I love how whenever they run out of Charlie or Allan funnies, just hand the show over to Berta.� She never ever ever disappoints. Or Evelyn for that matter.� To wit, I hope you all noticed that her timing in yelling "Alan!" during the Jingle Bell Rock number was a shout-out to this classic:

Yup, it's time to ditch Chelsea. Mr. Lorre couid've made an entire funzie ep out of the colonoscopy gags, and seemed to be on his DNA level wanting to do it, but mid-ep, he turns it over to Chelsea's wacky parents. I hate to write this and I hope I'm wrong but: This series died tonight.

And I don't mean to detract from Stacy Keach, who was indeed awesome... ... if you'd never seen a 2.5 Men ep before. My bitchfest about last night is that there were two 15 minute eppies compressed into one -- Charlie and his anal issues, and then Chelsea's wacky parents. I dunno, maybe we're seeing the start of Real Charlie's legal troubles in Aspen affect the editing?

I kind of felt that this episode was the same situation that we saw last week, pointed out by Piranhahaha - in that it felt like there were two 15 minute episodes instead of one 30 minute show. First part with Alan finally manifesting his violent side, and the second part with Chelsea potentially being attracted to another man and Charlie's potential insecurities about that.

Just so eerie and strangely similar, or as similar as it can possibly be, given how fucked up Charlie Sheen's life is.
