If they were smart, they would put the show in re-runs following Idol so that viewers who have not been watching can start and get hooked. Then the momentum
can continue through the summer.

I can only guess they figure they'll have enough viewers with Idol so they want to extend the viewership by staggering their hit shows instead of layering
them. Kinda goofy, but they don't have enough hit shows to last all year they think?
