And Chef Farmerie is leaving his wife for me. No really.

I get the feeling that Symon gave Mehta zeroes across the board and that's how Garces won. Not that I mind, as Mehta winning would have prevented me from
watching future Iron Chef shows...

I think Crenn would probably have made the best addition to the team: female spitfure from France, who is easy enough on the eyes.

This show's returning October 3rd and no one cares? ;_;
If Ming Tsai does not win this, then there's gonna be some problems. ![]() Bitch will cut you. Maneet <3 |

Yeah Ming Tsai is a serious ringer. Curious to see how this all falls out.

Wow, Ming Tsai is on this? Why? If he wants to be an Iron Chef, just let him be one.

This is Ming, Nomii. Not that chick up there.
![]() He's famous in his own right and has his own show on PBS. He also hosted a Top Chef-type show on PBS a few years ago. It was good. I agree he should be an Iron Chef, not a challenger. |

He competed on Iron Chef and beat Bobby Flay in Battle Duck. He had a show called Simply Ming on PBS that was really good, he would take a master recipe or ingredient and use it to make 4 recipes.

Who else is slated for this? I've seen the promos but they don't focus on the chefs long enough to identify anyone.
Ming Tsai is just meh. They need another female Iron CHef. |

Didn't Ming have his own show on Food Network once (late 90s/early aughts)?

Ming Tsai was also a guest judge on TOP CHEF. He must have something else in the works and he just wants the facetime of being in this show perhaps? He should be one of the judges and as others have said, a walk-on TOP CHEF.
Didn't Ming have his own show on Food Network once (late 90s/early aughts)? Yes. According to that history of the FOOD NETWORK special they aired last year. |

Has anyone watched the lastest ep? I don't get the food network and would like to know how Bryan Caswell did. He is a terrific chef here in Houston.

So, this is starting tonight. I'd like to watch to see why the hell Ming Tsai is doing it, but I tried to watch some of yesterday's marathon and the editing is just horrible. Alton Brown says two words....pause....two more words....pause....really bad. I'll give it a shot, hopefully they've improved that.
How many battles did Garces actually do on ICA? I don't watch it religiously, but I've only seen him on there twice. |

Steingarten isn't a judge this season, according to the Food Network page for the show? Fuck yes.
And, yeah. Seriously, about Ming FTW: Ming began cooking for television audiences on Food Network, where he was the 1998 Emmy Award-Winning host of East Meets West with Ming Tsai. Ming's Quest, his popular cooking adventure series, also aired on Food Network. |
