Bump for tonight's episode featuring the shopoholic salon owner.

Kimmie. That's a child's name not an adult's, no wonder she's a flake. God, her poor husband. He looked dumbfounded when Kimmie said she "didn't know about that" after he confessed they had emptied their savings for the salon. Definitely got the impression he had told her but it went in one ear and out the other.

They shouldn't keep returning to these salons exactly 6 weeks later. Or at least stop announcing they returned "6 weeks later". Or else they won't catch the salon owner by surprise. I liked that element from the first season. Obviously, it's harder to do now because everyone knows Tabatha's going to return but make when she returns more random or even the most goofball owner will know "Oh, this is the 6th week since Tabatha was here which mean she'll be around again pretty soon so gotta temporarily get our shit together.. but just for the next couple days".

It was (at least seemingly) more random in the first season and the chances for a "happy ending" in the first season was 50/50. For example: There was one salon that was part of a strip mall, it was jammed in next to some large grocery store. The salon owner (a woman) owned two salons and she spent her days managing the other one while her husband managed the strip mall salon. However, he hardly ever spent any time at the salon so with no one managing the place, the salon was always in crisis mode. For example, while they were doing the "secret filming" part, a customer came in who wanted her hair colored but the salon had run out of foils for coloring, so one of the stylists ran next door to the grocery store and bought a roll of aluminum foil. (God, can you imagine how unprofessional and hoosier that must have looked to that poor customer? I betcha she never went there again.) Tabatha read the salon manager the riot act, told him he has to be there to help the place run smoothly: to make business decisions, set appointments, answer phones, make sure they don't run out of product, etc.. yet when she returned a few months later, the doofus manager was no where to be found. If I remember right, the good news was that most of the really good stylists at that salon were actively searching other salons for employment.

Anyway, the point is that that second surprise was one of the many elements that I liked from the first season but so far in this season, they've always returned to the salon 6 weeks later and not only do they splash "6 Weeks Later" across the screen, Tabatha even says it was 6 weeks later in the intro to the return. It's not going to surprise anyone if everyone and his asshole brother knows Tab's will be back in 6 weeks.
