The kids just got finished doing a song that was meant to pull focus from their lack of ability. It made them look ridiculous and they knew it. Yet, here's
a group of students that are deaf and can't sing and are up on stage showing who they are and what they're about. They weren't trying to hide any
of their deficiencies.
Mercedes joining in was her way of honoring them in the only way she knows how.. by giving her voice to their music. The choice of music for this show has always been dead on. "Imagine" was perfect for that scene. If they had done almost any other song and Mercedes/the Glee club had joined in, it wouldn't have had the proper impact. |

For some reason I thought it would be like the Handless Organist... a miracle of God, that the deafies would somehow sing quasi on key, like they had learned
to control their voices to sing notes roughly on key... but nooooooooooooooo. We get Bob Marlee Matlin... speaking it and the rest of them with their deaf jazz
hands.... wtf?
But seriously Mercedes/Amber has a beautiful voice.... |

Rachel's room looks like the place "where Strawberry Shortcake and Holly Hobbie hook up".
The Imagine scene wasn't as tear jerking as I'd hoped. But I liked it nevertheless. <3 The sectionals set list! Yay Glee! *Emma claps* P.S. Puck is HOTTT. |

I never said one can't hope for it. Just like your pathetic ass keeps hoping for Puck and Kurt to get together, my pathetic ass wishes the show could get
some balance and have a less lopsided tone. Probably not going to happen, but the show pulls you in enough to keep hoping. Right?

Cool bit of news. I was checking Amazon because people were saying you could buy Adam Lambert's album for $4 (you can't) and I looked at the top 10
best-selling albums. Glee Vol. 1 is the #3 album and Vol. 2 is #9. Two albums in the top 10 and they didn't even have to die! Take that, Michael Jackson!
