Isn't this the second time Twila has been snubbed? From what I heard she was cut last minute from Micronesia and was an alternate for this one, too. I
just don't understand that. She's ten times more compelling and interesting than Danielle.

I totally agree that Twila was robbed of a spot (twice), and that there's no justifiable reason for Danielle coming back. But I personally would rather see
Danielle than Courtney, Amanda, Parvati and Sugar, and Danielle has far more potential than both Courtney and Sugar do.

Blame the fucking heterosexuals for Twila losing out on a spot. If you guys were not so obsessed with having hot chicks in bikinis on the show then people like Twila who are awesome but not exactly eye candy would get on. But casting knows hot chicks bring all the boys to the yard and they're like, I'm gonna watch that. And we end up with Amanda and Danielle who are dull as dishwater but have nice titties for the hets.... And now for something completely different:

I'm still pissed that some people thought JT played a good game, when in fact the reason he won was because everybody else was filthy rich. Particularly
Brandon, like when he said he wanted to get to the final 2 with JT, and then purposely losing so JT could win.
Put JT in Marquesas and he'd be fucked

I still think JT is underrated. The way he faked acting hurt when Stephen said he'd have taken Erinn to the F2 showed that the guy had game, and he seemed
to be just as involved in the strategy as Stephen. But I do agree it sucked that everyone handed the fucking game to him post-merge, which is why it's nice
to see him get to actually play the game this time.
Still, three Tocantins players on one season? There shouldn't be more than two people from any one season besides maybe ASS. Terry is just a poor man's Tom. Tom's leadership was an integral part of Koror's run, and post-merge he made some bold moves, like wanting to force the tie to get out Gregg, or guilting Ian into quitting, something only Steph has pulled off with Janu, and in the same season no less. Terry's tribe was weak, and he just let his tribe die without using his HII to help them, and instead tried to make horrible deals until he was stuck with Danielle because nobody really liked her either. He was a challenge god, but so was Tom, and Tom actually made solid game moves and led a cohesive tribe to boot. |

JT had two people totally loyal to him (or as loyal as you can get on Survivor). I think expectations will be higher than what will really happen.
A person's "Survivor Personality" is developed with their 1st Season and the individuals in that season. I think its the fresh mix thats good at developing the personalities. Trying to live up to your personality in additional seasons may be a bit hard with players who "know" you. Remember Mr Fairplay who welcome back was just about - "Hi, I quit." |

Nobody made Janu quit. Her mind checked out on Day 3 or after she saw all the rats at least. Janu was hilarious but she was gonna leave no matter what.
Stephenie was screwed no matter what and had no chance to win Palau. (Unless she made the finals)
I wonder who would have won between Stephenie and Tom? |

I just think there were sooooo many more deserving players. Like another poster said, do we REALLY need to see Amanda for a third time? Hell, why would she
even want to participate? Hasn't she embarrassed herself enough as it is?
Peih Gee and Natalie B both would've fit the theme of this season PERFECTLY. Crystal would have been an awesome choice too. Courtney, bless her, pretty much did absolutely nothing during her season. She was weak and pathetic as shit during challenges, road coattails, and was bitchy and sarcastic. Which was entertaining, but I can live without ever seeing her again. There's still a piece of me that hopes that this cast is full of shit. |
