Who doesn't love the famous lines "I am the eggman, they are the eggmen, I am the Walrus, goo goo ga-joob? The amount of references and randomness of this song is enough to have this song stuck in anyone's head for hours and hours. The greatest thing about it is that it really is three different songs written by Lennon that got put together as one because he could not finish any of them the way they were. This reminds me of Eric Burdon. Burdon is claimed by some to be the 'Eggman' from The Beatles song "I Am The Walrus". The reason for this is that Burdon was known as 'Eggs' to his friends, originating from his fondness for breaking eggs over naked girls. Burdon's biography mentions such an affair taking place in the presence of John Lennon, who shouted "Go on, go get it, Eggman ..." "Fondness for breaking eggs over naked girls." What's cooler than that?
