Ok, tons is a figure of speech but it was stated so often that Mick never received negative comments that this hit hard. His explanation, any explanation that involves getting rid of the responsibility, is not good.
Consider this: If Mick wins, Burnett would love that his original twist provided the winner. I don't think he'd want us to think that Mick won despite the twist but because of it. The recap told us that Swan had good leadership skills and his alliance with Erik could have carried him far. Conversely, Mick's lack of leadership can't be good.
I like the fact that Mick finally gave us a F3 connection but couldn't it be seen the other way around? He gave ammo to Russell just as much as Russell did. If Russell brings up Mick's profession first, he could say that Mick is making this up: "Do I look like a millionaire?" Or they could hurt each other.
