It'll be interesting to see how those two do next week with different partners.

Legacy is succeeding because he has gotten good dances and because he has a partner that has made him look good. Remember how good Natalie made Musa look? I
suspect this is the same type of thing (although I could be wrong).

Drew B wrote: Got ya. You're where I was last year this time with Evan. His deficiencies were obvious, too; but people like who they like. To me, Legacy shows more range than many of them. Yeah, he's limited (a B-Boy, after all); but I think he deserves his spot. Lamont and Ray wrote: I know the protocol. I had man friends in BYU Ballroom Dance. I never quite understood it on spiritual terms, since on my mission they told us if we did not wear our garments we were basically risking our lives. So that would be urban legend perpetuated by general authorities. I DO find it hard to believe Ashleigh and ryan are food Mormon folk. I could well be wrong, but they both have much more of a thorny edge to them than most I know or especially have seen on this show. ETA: I think I'm going to start calling Nigel Delilah. Every time he gets a guy to cut his hair (or girl, even, in Bianca's case), the power fades.

He needs to continue dancing each week shirtless. That helps keep him as one of my favorite dancers this season. Yeah, so what, I'm shallow. Get over it. You nit pick dancing ability. OTT sometimes, too. |

I was a huge fan when he tried out in Season 4 and didn't make it and I had high hopes for him in Season 5, but I was NOT an Evan fan last season when I saw how one note and limited he was. Last season I was rooting for Janette to win, but I didn't vote at all for anyone. Overall, last season sucked balls. |

I wish there had been some floor moves in the Waltz, just to vex you all. :)

Legacy spinning on his head during a foxtrot? Doing flares during a waltz? A crabwalk in a quick step?
DO IT! DO IT! I'd love to be there when Drew's head explodes like Scanners. |

There ya go! Hells to the yeah. Hell, Ryan does his Tango bitch face in EVERY dance. Twitch ALWAYS did his signature move (incompetence). So why not?

A signature face is hardly the same thing as a series of choreographed moves.

Ryan DOES get ballroom moves worked in. Look at the Broadway routine just this week. It always happens. JAkob always gets his pirouettes and leg lifts added.
ALWAYS. Karen got hip shakes added in, almost always. Nathan gets spins. They ALL get their choreographed moves added in. It is fucking ridiculous to say it is
not okay with B-Boys, just because we are not used to it. It ALWAYS happens. And again. Unfair to me is less about LEgacy getting stuff he already knows worked
in than NEVER getting a choreographed routine in one' style. Except for Russell, they have ALL had a complete DANCE of their style, for Christ's sake.
So unfair! So unfair! So unfair! See, I can be irrational and chlidish about it, too!
Get over it. It happens. He brings his own flavor and to me, all his dances do not look the same, like Evan's did last year or Twitch's did all his season. |

I fear for Ellenore. She is unique. The world can no longer tolerate her existance

Yup. Little girls now think, as they did with my beloved Mark K a few seasons back, that Ellenore is "weird." Sound the bells. And I do not know why
people hated her solo... it was GREAT dancing, with some odd touches. It stood out as a contempo routine with some thought behind it. I could see her being a
really great piece in a group dance.

Agreed about Ellenore. If she's gone before Mollee, I'll cut a bitch. Loved her since her audition.
I think you forget this show isn't necessarily all about technical abilities. It's about passion and HOTTNESS with some talent mixed in. Legacy has that. Ew. No. |

Don't be distracted by Sonya's routine and crabwalks. The thing about that waltz was how little time they spent in closed position, and the fact that
the woman was supposed to be leading the man.
Time to comprehensively analyse the styles each dancer has gotten in relation to their own preferred/learned style(s), the styles' degree of difficulty, and the deviations from said styles (I call this the dog-show test). |
