I have plenty of people I hate, but I'd never say to their faces that their dead siblings are better off staying dead. WTF?! That truly takes someone devoid of any heart or feelings to say that to someones face.

Does it really matter how the exchange went down or who started it? That was a truly callous and cold-hearted thing to say, no matter your feelings for
someone.

She probably looked at it as:
Being dead and having a peaceful afterlife > suffering for the rest of your life I don't think she was deliberately trying to be cold-hearted. |

Laura cares about Laura. If it's not about her, she doesn't care. And if the roles had been reversed, Laura would have gone on a tirade about how
Shambo doesn't have any social skills and doesn't care about anyone else.
Shambo is kind of annoying, but she's sincere. Laura is just an arrogant, self-centered bitch. |

I care that Laura is the hottest MILF evah on Survivor.
Shambo and everyone else is being too sensy. There should be a twist bringing Laura back into the game so we can get at least one to two sequences per night of her sunning her selfs. |

Give me a fucking break its fairly obvious what laura meant with her statement, yet because people hate laura this gets blown out of proportion.
How about Shambo being a bitch for bringing her misery over to someone who clearly didnt want to deal with that shit. |

If you want to know why Shambitch is such a psychotic numbskull, just look at her mental reaction to someone sitting by her. Just the act of coming
close, laying down a towel, and being proximate to Shambitch is an offense to her. Recall her refusing to sleep by everyone else in the shelter. She brought
her deep-seated issues with her to Samoa, and that ain't Laura's fault.
Anyways, why would you spill your guts and cry like that to someone you hate anyway? She was just setting up an impossible test. "When Laura touched me empathetically, that was proof! . . . of something. And then she had the nerve to comment on the sun! More proof!" Shambitch should take a walk into the ocean. |

I don't think it's what Laura said that was really horrifying, it was her body language and expression during the whole exchange. She could have at
least faked a look of concern. Instead altering between a smirk and a blank "you're blocking my tan" expression was what sealed the scene. That
being said, I think it was weird of Shamo to pour her heart out to someone she doesn't even like and expect ... what? Hugs? Kisses? A Kodak moment?

They didn't show them because they don't exist!" Well there we go :) "Oh they're better off now." Holy. Fuck. My jaw dropped. It's not even jsut that she said it but thats he said it so quickly and so casually. What a bitch. |

It almost makes me wonder if they included that scene EXACTLY because Laura hasn't shut the fuck up about never having said anything to Shambo that was
mean or insensitive.
Laura's pretty much come out and accused CBS of manipulating her edit because nothing ever happened like that(shocking to believe that CBS might do that, I know!). Maybe that scene was included as a subtle fuck you and STFU to Laura. |

QB, it makes me happy to think that is exactly what happened. i didnt like her much on the show and her interviews since have been more of the same self
serving crap. i hope CBS puts it to her at the finale too.

You all Laura haters are taking Laura word out of contest and are enforcing your interpretations on what Laura meant by this. It is so obvious Laura was saying
they are better off in Heaven or Paradise free from pain and suffering. Shambo sister died of cancer so there is defiantly a lot of suffering and pain involved
around that awful sickness. Also it seems everybody has forgotten that Laura did expressed her sadness when Shambo started talking about her siblings out of
the blue.Sjubet close to Shambo heart to person she hates.
I just want remind that vast majority of the human race still believe in the afterlife. It is not only the Christians. What i can tell from Laura statement was that she meant well but she did sound indifferent from her body language. This can be explain that Laura and Shambo just don't get along at all and Laura feels uncomfortable being around her. Shambo has been a lot expressive toward Laura then Laura has been toward Shambo. Shambo has use the world as hate and pain of my exstiance e.c.c. Laura worst comments are calling her Gilligan, social awkward and being uncomfortable being around her. Also i will give Laura benefit of the doubt as it seems that editors are trying real hard to paint Laura in a bad light.

I can't believe I'm defending Laura here, but how many times have people said "They're in a better place now?" after seeing a loved one
suffer through a painful, terminal illness? Laura's WORDING, her general demeanor, was incredibly insensitive and cold, but about her general sentiment
I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt.

"omg laura didn't GUSH enough sympathy for that hag shambo's sister dying eighty thousand years ago!!!!! she only half-heartedly tried to comfort
someone who hates her and villifies her at every turn! eeevil! and she's supposed to be a christian! humph!"
if only half of you realized how pathetic and crazy you sound, this thread prob wouldn't be any fun. |

And maybe she couldn't care less, but then don't bitch when you look like a total c.unt. If you hate her then own it, don't act surprised when others can pick up on the vibe. |
