Wow, if Mick wins (and i dont believe he has a shot) it will be the worst strategy ever. All we have gotten from mick is that he will say Russell is a
millionaire in final Tribal to get votes? Heck if thats all he's got in tribal i think the jury would give Russell another million to go with that for
playing a good game. this is Survivor and not 'charity survivor'. the fact Mick was called a bad leader by Jeff and also saying that he would consider
using a silly "Russell is a millionaire" argument at final tribal is very bad for him and makes him lok clueless. Shows he has no game whatsoever.

There are still so many episodes to watch...and everyone talks about Mick a lot each episode. He's always on your mind...they got time to play with his editing a bit, as long as he's shown. |

Move along, nothing to see in the recrap....
1. It's STILL the goddam Russhambo Show. 2. Finally some insight into Mick. Too bad it wasn't shown where and when it matters. 3. Once again we were shown why Russell loses. And how the women will have the last say. 4. Once again, as during the main show, I am moved to say, "Blake, try harnessing all that passion into something more creative and less offensive." |

I actually rewatched the recap this AM, day offs are fun! Couple of short insights -
When Russell makes the alliances with Natalie, Ashley, shot of hand bump with Borassi, etc., there was not (I don't think) any shot of him with Mick. We know that alliances aren't always hidden anymore, but interesting that they kept both the fact that Russell didn't like Mick's leadership early, then forged a bond with him hidden in the regular show. Why not pick one? Mick went from "bad leader" to "good guy" to Russell in one commercial break. The show kept the efforts of Mick as leader, and Russell giving away his real job, out of the show. Couple thoughts - One of Mick/Russell is in the F3 and the other isn't. I find this most likely (since I see Shambo in the F3, and I can't see her and Russell both in it. But say Russell is F3, and Mick is not. Either way, it is easy to see the fact of Russell's job being mentioned by Mick coming up, but it not mattering to decide the vote. And second, the actual show showed me that as he did with Ben, Mick let Russell lead. The recap confirmed it. And the comment on Mik as a leader - we got the mention of his letting Ben lead early. One FTC question concerning Mick's time as leader may come up. Whether that's a big issue or one person's vote would be determined then. The lack of comments and the need for the Foas to be tight got in the way of that story. Favorite new quote - Dave Ball - "Whaaaaaat? Your mom drop you on your head?" Dave Ball can't take conflict. He drops the hug, etc. How poorly was his handling of Shambo again on display? Wow. And not seeing an idol? Double wow. The chicken "mocked" Erik! The chicken "mocked" Erik! I love it. Michael PS can't Brett grow facial hair?

I thought the scene where Russell mentions him/Nat/Shambo final 3 would be important. My guess is Russell wins, Natalie comes close but doesn't win, and
Shambo sucks ass and gets no votes.

I actually thought the only important scene in the recap was the Brett scene. Not for him winning( so nobody say I am saying that) but for his future in the
game.

I'm still puzzled as to how this recap was "good" for Mick's chances, when all throughout he kept being labeled as a horrible leader.
Are people getting confused with the fact that he got some screentime, but all that screentime wasn't anything of substance or anything that particularly pointed to his endgame?! |

I find this most likely (since I see Shambo in the F3, and I can't see her and Russell both in it. I see Shambo as this all-over-the place, waywardlo character who will crash and burn, taking a whole lot of others with her. Laura intruded on her private moment at the beach! Really?!?

The recap told me one thing only. There are 4 people in this season -- Russell, Shambo, Erik, Laura. The other 16 don't matter. Erik & Laura both are
gone and now the only real characters left are Russell & Shambo. And Shambo is not winning for multiple reasons, so that leaves Russell. Those of you
picking Mick are still going for the "Edgic distraction" instead of seeing the writing on the wall for the most obvious winner ever. Mick's bad
leadership SPV and good strategy with Russell don't matter cos it's in an episode we don't count for anything.

Anyone else think Brett had his swan song? Boost in airtime in episode 10 and now the recap. Very Sydney-esque.

SFC wrote:Bumping up or down as a consequence of what was included in a recrap is fraught with danger. It's like looking at Insider videos. If you see something with possible end-game ramifications you can pause and think; however, ultimately, you ask yourself why it wasn't included where and when it matters. As far as Natalie is concerned, the recrap said nothing that hadn't been said before. On the surface of it, she's Russell's puppet. But she's made moves and, importantly, she's worked the women. These things are what have been planted in the viewers' minds. The rest is so much Eric chasing chicken noise: Loud and grating but, ultimately inconsequential. |

They could have simply shown those scenes of him hemming and hawing and being indecisive, and Mick would have looked foolish. Instead, they also included Mick describing his strategy as a leader--i.e., to not be bossy and to stay under the radar. It looked like his strategy was successful in that the others just wrote him off as non-threatening. Also, his scene with Russell was good for him. It presented him as being shrewdly wary of Russell, while gaining information he could potentially use on the jury. I just wonder why this stuff wasn't shown in the non-recap episodes. |
