I think Brian and Ericka might have gotten a small penalty for taking a taxi back from the bar to get more beer during the detour. It might have gotten edited out because the 4 hour GT penalty made their penalty a moot point. Anyone else see this or think this?

I can't believe globetrotters took a penalty on such an easy rb, esp. when they were in last place. (at least romber at a comfortable lead when they took the penalty..). Meghan and Cheyne ran a flawless leg tonight, kudos to them. As far as if Brian/Ericka got a penalty, I doubt that will matter at all. I'm sure all the teams will get bunched up in Las Vegasbecause of a flight (seats tend to mysteriously open up at the last minute for the last leg...). gl to Meghan/Cheyne. Go win it all.

Loved the Globetrotters, but that was the most idiotic task to quit I've ever seen. At least other teams who quit had the excuse of being physically unable to do the tasks (except the pizza fuckers from season 5, who were just lazy assholes), but not being able to unscramble a five-letter word? I asked the dumbest person I know to unscramble it, and even she did it first try, and her pure idiocy alone makes up for the handicaps the teams had. What a dumb fucking move.

After the problem reading the watch I'm not surprised BE failed at playing jumble. Why FT didn't coax him to just go back in and continue to try is a mystery.

Because there is no drama between watching the 30 minute penalty wind down as the globetrotters 4 hour penalty was still winding down and not yet over by the time Brickas penalty was done. The Globetrotters gave up despite having a Detour, an additional task and numerous taxi rides where time could have been made up

So he kept trying because he actually thought he'd already used it & got denied. So they were there for 8 hours. So it wasn't so much bad spelling as it was plain old stupidity that bit their asses.
