Lynne Spillman did an interview a while back about how tons of Survivor alumni contact her regularly about going on the show, she mentiond Marcus & Charlie
from Gabon and said that nobody gives a fuck unless they're actually a couple
 And even then, that isn't a guarantee.
I guess that's why people like Janelle/Kaysar weren't approached.. but then I don't understand why they felt Allison & Donny deserved to be in TAR5. Their relationship wasn't interesting at all. |

I think she meant that in the context of former Survivors wanting to do the race together when they've only known each other for a few months. They
don't live together, they're not even from the same city, and they haven't invested much into the relationship so I do see her point. Real-life
friends, siblings, etc, are a different story because they actually have history together.

Allison/Donny failed hard at the race itself, but I think they were definitely a good casting choice. It's not like they were INV borewhores for the
entire time, they had major drama and are more memorable than most 2nd boots usually are.

I recall that Janelle said her Mom was approached by a TAR producer and asked her if she'd do TAR with her daughter. Her Mom said no. I think that was the
end of that possibility.

According to RFF, they might would be going to Guayaquil, Ecuador next then heading to Galapagos Islands. It wouldn't might sure they are going to
Australia/New Zealand ala westward like TAR13.
