I watched Elf on Sunday night - it's definitely a yearly tradition for me, probably the only Will Ferrell movie I've ever watched and liked.
Waiting for A Christmas Carol (original), Miracle on 34th St. (original) and a few animated - How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown and many more. |

I LOVE Elf!!!!
We will end up watching it several times until new year. My daughter will even occasionally answer the phone, "Buddy the elf, what's your favorite color?" <3 in general, i'm not a will ferrell fan, but we can't get enough of this movie!!! :) |

I saw Elf in the movies when it first came out. The one part where Will Ferrell is sad and standing on a bridge, somebody in the theater shouted out
"Jump!" I think a lot of people in the theater started laughing. I was glad that there were others besides me that hated the movie.

I think it is one of those you either love or hate. And I love, love, love it. I especially love the singing part w/Zooey singing.

My Christmas trilogy is A Christmas Story, The Ref, and Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas. I'm hoping to actually catch the latter on the big screen at
the Alamo Drafthouse in a few weeks.

I just flipped over to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting for a second, and Shakira is yodelling her way through "Santa Baby". "Rudolph" wins

i just watched rudolph, which i haven't seen for years.
why did i think the abominable snowman had a sore tooth and hermey fixed it and that's what tamed him? did i totally make that up or is there a dentist in another christmas story? |

I'm very upset they haven't played Karrol's Christmas in a couple of years. I know it's just another re-tred of the classic Dickens, but I love
