Seriously Miki. IE fucking blows shit, you need to start using Firefox now or I will hunt you down and install it on your computer for you. There's no reason anyone should use IE. It's an abhorrent piece of crap. I tired Firefox before and didn't like it. I don't like to change and so used to IE. I might try Chrome like tIGER has suggested. Sowwy SHC,
ex-Wife. <3 Im with KMCMF now. |

Miki is just my secret gay ex-husband. He routinely brought men back to our condo in Toronto, especially former CI has beens. We only got married for
convenience purposes really.

Don't worry, Quickstart. Our marriage was a sham like most. We were in it for tax breaks. I also used SHC's good credit history to purchase fun times with Matt Giraud when I went to see him in Kalamazoo and other guys. It was convenient. Thanks, SHC. <3 Oh and you get nothing in the settlement. Sorry. I need it to buy KMCMF's and mines' condo in the UK. I left some bus tickets for you on the counter. yw.

Carrie Underwood performs "I Told You So" at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on April 5. A photo of Underwood's performance is featured on the cover of the 2010 World Almanac and Book of Facts. (Associated Press photo) Country music superstar and Checotah native Carrie Underwood is featured on the cover of the 2010 World Almanac and Book of Facts, alongside President and first lady Barack and Michelle Obama and Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle. The cover includes a photo of Underwood singing her hit rendition of "I Told You So" at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in April. For the performance, the 2005 "American Idol" winner memorably donned a voluminous burgundy dress that took up most of the stage. She also won the ACM entertainer of the year trophy and top female vocalist title at the awards show. The almanac cover also includes a photo of the Obamas at his presidential inauguration and an action shot of Buehrle, who this year pitched just the 18th perfect game in Major League Baseball history. The World Almanac is America's top-selling reference book of all time, with more than 80 million copies sold, according to the product description. Published annually since 1868, it offers an array of information on world events, entertainment, statistics and more. What makes this Oklahoman beauty worthy of such company? Well, the World Almanac picks the most memorable people and events from the previous year and as one of the most successful winners of one of the most watched shows on television-it is only fitting that Underwood graces the cover, according to a media release.

That's awesome, congrats Carrie!
I think Taylor Swift's success is almost entirely tied to her incredible songwriting ability. Who in the last 5-10 or more years has been able to put out a body of really really good songs like that, who isn't some formulaic producer already on some big label's payroll? Its so refreshing to hear GOOD songs on POP radio by a true singer-songwriter, everyone will forgive the fact they're all written for teenagers and her voice is not the most stellar. Taylor successfully crossed over from Country to Pop and more power to her. She now appeals to two huge, huge markets. Carrie, on the other hand, is a true Country diva and has come into her Country Star-dom quite gracefully. She's easy to love, so that her generally-generic music is forgiven. Carrie's biggest success is without a doubt her singing - especially when she got lucky enough to get a hold of one of the greatest songs written in the last few years "Before He Cheats" and put her own twist on it. Also the nostalgic "I Told You So" has been great for her. Her claim to fame is she looks fantastic, sings great, and appeals to a far more mature audience than Taylor Swift. They really aren't comparable at all. |

What a fucking talented bitch. She's practically just talking and she still sounds better than some others. It's cool seeing them dancing to no music just Carrie's voice.

lol she had to even apologize when she barely bumped into that girl she's so not used to doing that stuff live but she's getting better. Personally when she just sings it's fine by me but I never will turn down hot chicks dancing as long as the songs not ruined or lipsynched. |

Taylor had good shit on her first album. Tim McGraw, Teardrops, Picture to Burn, and Our Song were good shit. However, she has cheesed it up on her second
album and I think all her songs are juevnille as all get out.
Seriously, here are some of the lyrics: But she wears short skirts, I wear t-shirts She's cheer captain and I'm on the bleachers ROMEOOOOOO take me somewhere we can be alone I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess It's a love story baby just say yessssss! You can't look at me with a straight face and tell me that shit is good song writing. I think she forfeit her song writing talent so she could appeal to the tweens. |

She's 19, she's going to write what she knows. It will be interesting to see how her writing matures over the next 10 years.
Some of her lyrics are aimed young but my girlfriend, she loves love story. She always says that it doesn't matter the age you are, a woman is never too old to dream about romeo sweeping her off her feet. Why do you think there are so many of those cheesy romance novels that sell millions? White Horse is probably the most mature song yet from Taylor. I hope that is a glimpse of what is to come as she matures. What Taylor has on her side is that all these tweens that love her now will grow up with her. There is a good chance they will stay with her every step of the way because they will always be able to relate to what she writes as long as she sticks to the course she is on. We all know Carrie has been known to dip into that immature pool a time or two herself. My favorite is this one And, I , I close my eyes And, I kiss that frog Each time finding The more boys I meet the more I love my dog Then there's that enchanted song she did. Let's face it, bhc wasn't exactly the picture of maturity but it sure was fun. she's so not used to doing that stuff live but she's getting better. The confidence she has gained in the last 6 months has been a thing to behold. You can see it in every performance of late. |

I agree about Taylor's lyrics, they're age appropriate. Their immaturity doesn't make her a shit songwriter, she would sound dumb singing about
things she knows nothing about.
I'm just a little older than Taylor and I relate to her lyrics b/c I'm there or was there very recently. I completely agree with this sentiment. |
