There are some old ridiculous quotes from his dad spouting some nonsense about how Tiger was going to transcend golf and change the world. That's the image he was trying to promote.

Was it Tiger that was propping himself up as some perfect angel? I got the impression when he first showed on the scene that he was socially awkward though he played a fantastic golf game. And it was daddy and his agent putting it out he was such a good person. It appeared to me he was a mommy/daddy's boy and instead of going wild with fame he played his golf games and disappeared into the woodwork like the wallflower he was. I don't recall him being all over the rags as getting high and hooking up with every other rich guy groupie. I'm sure his dad did want to believe his wunderbar child would be the next best thing since JC but that was daddy's dream but not Tiger's dream I suspect.
I was a little surprised when he married since I don't recall seeing much about him even dating when scanning the tabloids at the check out.
Cheating is wrong, period. Spousal abuse is wrong, period. Neither of those two are winning any awards with this crap. If Ms. Woods can be bought for any price it just speaks to the fact she married Tiger for his money and prestige not "twu wuv". Yippee for the trophy wife and her being able to up her price for services provided. I'd rather they divorce then play this sham for one day longer since it's no secret any longer and I don't want to hear on the news how Elin got to gung ho and took Tiger out of the picture all together. No way any person with one working brain cell would encourage an abused spouse to hang tough just for the dough. Worst advice ever.
