Remove this ad I mean, you can speak for yourself Eliza, but I'd rather take a "boring" pleasant person, over a horrible miserable and awful person who's supposed to be entertaining any day. It's partly why I liked Jordan from BB11 and absolutely hated Jessie, Chima, and Natalie. Jordan may have been "boring", but....at least she wasn't a miserable excuse for a person from what we were shown.

In the early seasons, pretty much everyone got at least a semi-decent edit and the visibility was split pretty reasonably among the players so we got a good sense of who they were. It really didn't matter how important to the endgame they were. Now we get Russhole being shoved down our throats by the editors. Russhole's the only one "playing hard" ? Just because he dominates the edit every week ? And how can we say others are not playing hard when we get such limited edits from them ? Russhole would have possibly made a good villain. Like Mariano. Or Hatch. Instead his Survivor "character" has been ruined by (a) the ridiculously visible and repetitive edit he's gotten and (b) the ridiculously easy-to-find HIIs that saved him over and over.

An actual contestant on the show twice (especially Micronesia, one of the most biased edited seasons) should realize that the editors can shaft whoever they want when putting the show together. Unless Eliza is trying to say that, for example, Julie was as boring as she came across on screen.

Russell is one my faves this season, even though I'm more of a Monica\Laura fan. 1) I always have a certain respect for the mastermind schemer. 2) Russell does think outside the box (looking for idols without a clue, etc) 3) The skewed editing is largely because of the unfortunate way the season played out. Russ has to get tons of airtime premege as the leader the the tribe always going to TC (think Steph). The other 3 Foas making merge are BORING, so Russ again is at the cente of the underdog comeback story. I'm far more annoyed at how Shambo was shoved down or throat at the expense of the other Galu. Go Villians in S20!

It's safe to say Natalie, Mick, and Jaison are boring, because they were in the perfect position to be huge stars. And the two guys got lots of talk time but were unmemorable. It's when a tribe rarely goes to TC, or when a player is surrounded by entertaining stars, that someone can be ignored without being boring.

I honestly think that Russell is the only one playing the game... I thought that John was but when he voted Laura out that pretty much sealed it for Russell, I think... unless Brett can come through in the IC I don't think anyone but Russell deserves the win... P. S. thank god Shambo is done...

Jordan was hilarious!!! Her scene about telling time was one of my favorites of the season. She was both sweet AND entertaining. It has nothing to do with that. Natalie who was miserable was ALSO boring and annoying. Being awful doesn't make you entertaining and the reverse is also untrue.

As I've said many times in the past, being "boring" on the show has nothing to do with being "boring" in real life. Julie and Leann are both fantastic examples of that since they are both funny, fun, entertaining, engaging, amazing people in real life, but it didn't come across on tv. I can only judge Survivor seasons as a viewer and when I make comments about people, yes, it is based on what I am seeing because honestly, I know Brett is awesome in real life (through a variety of ways), but based on what I've seen on the show, I couldn't say that in an analysis of the show because that's ridiculous.

I thought she was kind of entertaining. I was just saying I'd rather take somebody like Brett or Kelly S, or Erik H or something over somebody like Corinne due to the facts stated above since I guess that's a better example.

Expanding game from 16 players to 18 or 20 without an increase of time to show the game reduces airtime which can be devoted to each player. Frankly wish if they continue to do 18 & 20 person seasons they figure out an appropriate way to increase challenges so they don't have double boot episodes, the challenges are spaced appropriately so a Dave Ball isn't limited to <24 hours to compete/scramble AND CBS increases airtime. Big Brother is shown 3 nights a week, why can't they toss in a few extra Survivor episodes for the seasons with larger casts? Yeah, yeah, yeah, advertising deals, tv time slot schedules...make it work people!

Who do you think Deserves to be on S20 (Choose any 16-20... that you would cast... not based on friendships but based on huge characters and people that deserve to be there.) 2. Out of the cast... who least deserves to be there (I assume I already know your answer) 3. Overall... are you happy or angry with the cast (since a lot of good people were left out)
