Based on the fact that Ponderosa got pictures from home, I'm guessing the next RC involves something similar.

Resort or trip to a local village. Photos would be great and could give us some crying points.

From the Ponderosa videos, John is clean-shaven when they're looking at the pictures from home. But it looks like he shaves right before the first tribal
council (which looks to me like it's the day after he was booted). So that would potentially place a reward challenge (combined RC/IC?) after the first of
the two boots in this episode.

I got a weird assed vibe from the Ponderosa clips TDT. First thing, they can't let it go. They all still act like they are still in the game. I sort of
want them all to hold it for the Finale. Right now it looks the three FF will be sitting there while the Galus go off on each other!

... plus an idol... Immunitypalooza!
So it sounds like two immunity challenges, one tribal council, two back-to-back votes? Not IC/TC, then another IC/TC. Looks like one is some sort of obstacle course racing about, and then the bowling (must be some extra twist to that). |

Two TCs
|

they say |

The top one looks like a bean-bag-bounce. Jump on the plank and try to toss the bean-bag on the other end of the plank into your basket. Similar to when
Sue-Hawk quit in All-stars. This must be the season of fulcrum challenges.

Was about time that they compensated that disastrous recap. It feels good to see a planned double boot episode for once.
<*Waits for Brett coming out of nowhere, win both challenges, and then floss his teeth with Danger Dave's jugular veign*> |

Two TCsTwo entirely separate tribal councils? So really it's just two weeks worth of episodes edited down to one? Not any sort of twist that results in a double boot? |

John was booted on Day 30. What's likely is they have two players leaving by the end of Day 33. and then a person leaving on each of Day 36, 37, and 38.

So basically one episode going through two cycles. I'm sorry, but that seems wrong to me. I feel the only episodes that should cover multiple cycles
are finales or two-hour premiers (like Gabon's).

If they do it in 2 different tribal councils then it's not really a double elimination, it's just bad editing.

I don't see the big deal. I mean this "double elimination" happened because of the TV show schedule. I mean with 14 episodes they will finish on
the 20th of Dec. If they add another episode, then they will have to do the finale on the 27th of Dec which I doubt they will do since most of the network will
choose to broadcast holiday specials and stuff. And plus no one will watch the finale if it's being broadcast on the 27th.
And the first TC will only cover 1 day. If it's being made into 1 episode by itself, it will be soooo boring. Because we only have 1 Immunity Challenge and 1 Tribal Council. I doubt there's enough interesting things happening in a day. Unless they want to fill the whole episode with Brett's confesional, I don't mind this "double elimination" episode. (Usually with the 1 day episode, they had 1 Reward Challenge, sometimes the reward itself, 2 tribal councils and 2 camps to show.) |

SkyDreamer wrote: To make up for the cancelling of the planned double boot, they could have altered the usual 3 day cycle by changing the RC on day 31 into an IC and adding an additional tribal council. The 'baskets with bean bags' challenge had been a reward challenge during the first 2 seasons that it was used (Africa and All Stars), So, I'd think that this challenge was originally planned to be for reward for Samoa. I'm wondering if this change also caused the loved one's visit to be scrapped. That usually happens around this time. Loved one's visit happened at Final 7 the last time there were 20 contestants (Micronesia). RC with Final 7 would have occurred on day 31 if the double boot had gone as planned. |

I'm sure they're saving the family visit for the last Reward. Since they don't have any more cars to give away.

Well I remembered Russell's wife was reported visiting Russell in Samoa. though I can't remember was it for season 19 or season 20.
Who reported there's no family visit this season? |
