That gave him the opportunity to cross-promote his clothing business on the side by writing into the Ponderosa video script that Erik has to wear that
god-awful T-shirt.
He's basically Survivor's equivalent of that dude from The Office (Ryan) who hardly has any screentime and is barely a supporting character, but gets to be in the opening credits and it turns out it's because he writes the show. |

I think it just goes to show how amazing Brett's T-Shirt designing is. Brett and Erik both brought the same shirt to Samoa with them, and Brett designed
it.
