I love DirecTV. It is the only good option if you follow a non-local football team. Sunday Ticket is great and a whole lot better than trying to pick up feeds. I do agree with Back Bay though that it totally sucks in storms (we are in Houston too and lose signal way too often).
This may have been my favorite FNL ever. The storyline this year is the best they have ever had and the writing has been amazing. They don't write complicated dialog, but it is very poignant and the actors really DELIVER the lines. Their casting people must be really great too because they don't have any big name stars, but every actor portrays the multi-dimensional characters with real skill. The new females are growing on me and I love the new male characters.
It is a real shame that this show is overlooked at awards time. Maybe it will garner more attention this year with the racial storyline and the war death. It has never really been a football television series, but it has become even less so over the years. Saracen has had a lot of good storylines, but IMO this was his best performance and it had me wiping away the tears.
Great, great series and a wonderful episode. It always leaves me wanting more and wondering where the storyline will lead next. Glad to see that Lila will be around at least for a bit. I always liked she and Riggins together (had to laugh at the boots - do you think she would wear those at Vanderbilt or wherever she went off to?).
