She was great in challenges and Russ thought that she was too smart to bring into the merge. As for potential jury votes, I think the Galu women + Brett will vote as a block for Nat (largely due to Laura's influence), Erik for Mick, John (and possibly Shambo and Dave) for Russ. Jaison's is up in the air since there's evidence he'd vote for anyone in the F3.

Erik sees his own boot as THE GAME CHANGER. Natalie made it happen, so she gets his vote. Russell was Babe Ruth striking out while Erik was in the game. Erik had contempt for Jaison, it probably carries over the fellow challenge loser Mick. Plus Erik has bonded with Kelly and Laura on jury.

For all we know it already happened, but was cut out of the Ponderose vids (or not taped at all). Missyae, so the next boot is Dave? Then who will go after Dave? Monica and Shambo?

I know Natalie fans are fighting desperately to cling on to this, the one boot she can lay claim to in the game. But I don't see how she can claim sole credit for it. And more to the point, her social game is such that other people in the game will not naturally think of giving her credit for it, assuming that she'd even want to claim that credit, given that her game has essentially consisted of being as nice as possible to as many people as possible. Natalie may well win this game. But if she does, it won't be on the basis of being some sort of strategic mastermind. Not on the strength of the game she's played so far. However, I have accepted the fact that it's probably not going to happen. I'm not clinging to Nat, but I just think she's the obvious winner. Now, I agree with a lot of what you said, but it also helps make my point that Nat wins. I agree that she isn't this great mastermind, but the reason people think she is, is because that's how CBS edited the scene. It was a great move by her, and I couldn't see anyone else from Foa Foa pulling it off, but CBS is purposely giving her all of the credit. Every chance they get, they remind us that Natalie solely got rid of Erik. They want us to know that she is responsible for the biggest game changing moment in the game. Why? I think the answer is obvious. One thing we know about Survivor is they will manipulate us to believe that the winner is a good player, and they will focus more on their achievements, then their downfalls. (Bob with the fake idols, Danny working on Rafe). So far, all we know about Mick is that he's quiet, and a bad leader. They have focused more on his downfalls. Natalie however, is changing from a blond bimbo to a great player. At least that's what they want us to believe. Natalie as been in the background for the last 2 episodes, but the wheels have already been put into motion. They want the winner to be somewhat of a surprise. They're not going to rub her in our faces for 30 minutes. Like I said the wheels have already been set, She's responsible for the best move in the game, she over came the elements and the odds, and the blonde girl stereotype, (with the rat scene) we have her strategy to beat Russell, and Russell doesn't believe she has a shot in hell to beat him. They just gave us all of the recipes of this season's winner. They can now go back to the Russell show, which is what they really want to do. Personally, I think Nat and Mick both suck, but one of them is getting a manipulated edit to look like a great player, guess who that is. BTW ( Apparently the jury questions will have a lot to do with determining the winner, so if I had to speculate, I would say Natalie takes ownership of the Erik boot, and he respects it.)

She's acknowledged that she latched herself on to Russell in hopes of him doing the dirty work and her beating him in the end. Everything else she's done is just following the straightforward path of getting to that point. What else could she have done to be seen as a more active player other than be nice to people that are going to be on the jury? Sometimes less is more. WINNER'S QUOTE believe that

Actually the only one clinging to anything is you. The Natalie fans have reason to believe Natalie wins (missyae's spoilers and saying Natalie is "waaay good") so we're looking for evidence in the show that would support that. If you watch that scene, no matter how edited it is, Natalie goes to Russell H afterward and he doesn't believe her and she goes to Mick afterward to tell him she's done it. Since Jaison isn't even spoiled to be in the f3, even if people thought that Jaison was the one who put her up to it, why would they not give Natalie credit for making it happen?
