I'd blame Kring most of all. Dude was not ready to run a show.

Season 3 ended in April of 2009.
They were speculating due to the slumping ratings. |

I really hope this is the last season. I still watch it, but it's kind of like I'm dating a guy that hits me, but we used to be in love, so I think
he'll change.

A character that's unpopular with viewers shouldn't necessarily be removed no matter how much fans cry about it. If it's the personal vision of the writer or creator, you can't really do anything about it except either give your complaints about specific errors like writing or directing. |

But at this point it's no longer the personal vision. It's a corrupted mismash.

I know. I watched Season 1 in tandem with Season 4, and the latter is pretty ridiculous, not to mention just boring. I randomly watched a season 3 episode last
year and found it incomprehensible.

EXCLUSIVE! 'Heroes' Will Most Likely Get a 5th Season
Whole lot of shaking going on at NBC and more specifically Heroes. This past week we saw the killing off of Adrian Pasdar's character, heard the news that Sendhil Ramamurthy has been cast in a new pilot for the network, and the network itself merged with Comcast. Everyone is taking the departure of Ramamurthy and Pasdar as a sign that the show is canceled. ScreenJunkies reached out to an inside source at Heroes who confirmed these rumors as false. Our source tells us that Ramamurthy got a pilot and asked the writers to write him out. They obliged. Everyone loves Sendhil Ramamurthy and his character, but the truth is he didn't have a lot of screen time this season, and the writers felt they shouldn't stand in the way of the actor's future. Look for Mohinder Suresh to make his exeunt in an episode airing in late January. Our source further tells us that given that Heroes (and it's DVD sales) is huge all over the world, it's doubtful it will be canceled anytime soon. From a business standpoint, another season would bring the number of shows up to 100 which would position Heroes as a bona fide asset for future ancillary ventures. In fact, as The Hollywood Reporter pointed out, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts gave a verbal shout-out to Heroes on his phone call to investors after the merger went through yesterday. It's always a good thing to impress the new boss. That's why I wear tight t-shirts around the office. How you gonna hate on a guy who looks like Rambo pretty much with his shirt off? |

Like?
Honestly, I don't think the writers care. They are just churning out stories just to earn a paycheck. |

See I know exactly what is going to happen...
I'll say I "have" to finish out this season. And I will. Then I'll say I'll give the first few eps of next season a chance even though this show legit makes me angry. And I will. The premiere will have enough promise but be nowhere near great. The next two episodes will touch on things that were set up in the premiere but start to drift away from them slightly. By the fifth episode, the season will already be about something other then what was set up in the premiere. There will be MAYBE one interesting thing that happens in that 5th episode, and that glimmer of hope will be enough to get me to say "I'll give it a few more weeks". And I will. This trend will continue until the end of the season where I will literally be praying for cancellation. And it won't be. Repeat process. |

I could honestly say that if this were Season 2 and not Season 4, that I would really like what was going on and would be enjoying the show a lot more. The
problem is some of the characters have been ruined and played out too much in the last two years (Claire & Sylar). I really like where they are going with
Peter. At first I didn't like that he could only have one power at a time but now I really like it and it makes Peter appear much stronger to me because he
has to be more crafty and physically stronger.
They really ruined things killing off Nathan. I hope they can figure out a way to put him back in his own body and bring him back to life like how they brought Noah back to life with Claire's blood that time. You can do so much with the Nathan, Peter, and Tracey characters but they really just seem to not know what to do at all at times. But I think the show is back on the right track and could be good again. |

Who wants to bet with the 5th season being a simple grab for syndication that they'll just start killing EVERYBODY but Sylar off and let the last few
episodes just be him.

I think Season 3 was very good though. |
