that game was so out of hand it was rediculous.

Just ignore me

I was just looking over the Sagarin and, unfortunately for longhorn fans, the national championship will be a rematch between Alabama in the first spot and Florida in the second.

The other six teams with automatic bids to bcs bowls are: Texas, Oregon, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Georgia Tech, and TCU. The two teams which made at-large are Virginia Tech and Boise State.

We were stunned here for a long time after the game. This is the first game I saw my 9 year old really get upset about a loss. It's so much worse when you come so close, after everyone in the media expected a blow out. I just can't stand Kirk Herbstreit.

Thanks atm - the husker boards are after watson's job. Bo fixed our defense, so I'm not giving up on him yet. And I just feel awful for Zac Lee. Like I told my son last night, at least he didn't cry on National tv like tebow. lol

I'm sorry but they're the No. 1 and No. 2 teams. What's the point of matching 1 and 2 and calling that the SEC championship, then turning around and giving the #1 vs. #3 the national championship? Hasn't that already been played?

Furthermore, is anyone prepared to say that Florida's performance against Alabama was worse than Texas's performance against Nebraska? Florida would have had a far easier time against Nebraska, and actually finished the season 13-0 if given the chance.

Sagarin's real ratings (the one the BCS uses) has Alabama-1, Texas-2 so I wouldn't worry about that...

Putting ALL the games together, Alabama has a far higher strength-of-schedule and far higher predictor score. And they have better wins. So that's why they're number one and Texas is number three.

More importantly, CRA's game put me at third place when I have the W-L tiebreaker over buckeye. I should be second. CRA, you'll have to explain the miscue.

There is NO tiebreaker for overall points, only for the weekly competition. You're listed after Buckeye because "B" comes before "U" in the alphabet. You TIED FOR SECOND. That's it. Done. OVER.

Hey, I got the best Win-Loss count, so I guess I made good on that whole eventual winner thing. And I was picking tons of upsets in that last week because I was the only person who had a shot at taking down Smithee. Too bad I failed at that. Not enough big upsets to deal me back into the hunt.
