Stephanie Edwards is a great choice, too. I remember the Top 24 Girls Performance Night, she stepped out first and tore the shit out of that Alicia Keys song.
It was even better because she single-handedly owned every single guy from the night before. One of the best out-of-nowhere debuts the show has seen. Too bad
she psyched herself out or lost interest in the competition or...whatever it was that happened to her.

^ I completely agree. Stephanie was supposed to be cannon fodder and they made her go first to try to get rid of her, but she sure proved them wrong. <3 Too
bad she was always gonna be just the 4th diva in the judges' eyes no matter what she did, and she lost her confidence in the Top 12.

Lil Rounds has to be the worst female African-American finalist in American Idol history. I don't dispute her talent, but she never showed it to full
effect and yet got praised to the highest heights by the judges just for her "potential". To be frank, her semifinal performance of "Be Without
You" wasn't even that great in retrospect. It was basically Lil doing a Mary J. Blige impersonation, and one Mary J. is enough for this world.
