Danyl was shit as usual. Joe FTW please and record the Climb so I can put it on my iPod and repeat it over and over while beating off in teh shower. Stacey as runner up. I'm so over Olly, but he MUST beat out Danyl. The bull shit they spewed at Danyl this week is ridiculous. He has a terrible lower register and there is no climax to his songs. "I Have Nothing" was complete SHIT and Man in the Mirror was done better by Kris Allen.

Smugness and doing acrobatics with the microphone do not equal talent, or charisma. Because he's so smarmy some say he has the "X-Factor", but being dull and talented will get you further. Stacey is OK but she doesn't know how to interpret songs. Joe's not great at that either but he does have a very beautiful voice. It's baffling to me when people say oh well if Joe wins he's going to be like Leon. Most likely, they will all be like Leon in terms of sales. This group has no real breakout artist. And even if they did, the generally shortsighted, greedy Simon Cowell would ruin their chances.

Posts: 20538 (12/06/09 05:58 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I think Jedward winning might have been too much for them, because they would have to be doing two performances a night for the last weeks of the competition, and Friedman and Louis seemed to lose any real idea of how to showcase them by the time they left. Not winning might be better for Jedward, all they need is the right promotion and material. Unfortunately that does not seem likely, although Louis Walsh might surprise me, I guess. If they aren't with Simon they may be better off. His track record is generally not good with the people on these shows. Leona was the exception, and even she seems to be losing steam more quickly than expected, due to bad choices of singles and questionable material.

Louis is good at what he does. They need there own show they are just too funny I finally got to grips with X Factor twins John and Edward at the Jingle Bell Ball at the 02 Arena. In real life they're bizarre but exceedingly fun. Some choice comments. Talking about Lady Gaga at the show: "Every time I hear Gaga I think of a baby toy - maybe she should bring o u t a baby range. She'd probably go Gaga if we got a better reception than her." On being pelted with bottles at a nightclub this week by anti-Jedward fans: "The bottles came flying from the crowd but we didn't need to be hydrated - we were fine. "It added to our stage show. A special effect." And when I asked them how they had such thick skins John replied: "We haven't. But could you imagine if we had really thick skin. We'd just look so weird." Jedward are genius. Look at that press photo taken weeks ago with Joe at the forefront and Stacey and Olly in the background. Coincidence? Probably not. I'm sure by the time Lucie was gone, they were sure these 3 were going to be the finalists. I watched some of the results show and Joe was on top of some structure and Stacey and Olly were on a lower level to him singing. They always seem to feature him first in songs and even in that charity single. I think it's a no brainer he's going to win. Olly will come in 3rd and Stacey in 2nd. I'll be shocked if Stacey or Olly win.
