The wedding is in late June/early July 2010. I am the older and still (possibly forever) unmarried sister. What should I DO? I know I have to plan a shower and a (conservative, knowing my sister), bachelorette party. Since I am very happily single at the moment, I feel kind of awkward. Any advice?

Your sister is an IDIOT for choosing you to be the maid of honor. I would feel bad that her wedding and bach party are going to suck, but it's her fault for picking a twatwaffle to do the job. No sympathy here.

I just feel that because I'm the older sister, I should have already been married and have gone through this whole process. But since I haven't, I feel kind of bad for my little sis... because since I have no personal experience, I have to lead her through this blindly. I've been a bridesmaid before, but never maid of honor or the bride. And I REALLY don't want to let my little sister down.

Which is ANOTHER reason it sucks that my younger sister is getting married first. I look either her age (or younger), so when people that don't know us see us together, they'll think she's the older one.
