I'm also over the HII. I never minded it because I thought there were times when it was really fun but now I'm just over it and I'd like to see them get rid of it. I'm glad they did away with exile, too, because I was over that too.

I've always liked the idea of having the two tribes rank themselves (like in Gabon) and just sending all the unliked people to one tribe and the liked
people to the other. I guess it would probably not work out well but it would just be so lol to see.

I guess it would probably not work out well but it would just be so lol to see.I had a similar thought to this, except the people at the bottom were put into a third tribe. It would really be an interesting dynamic having a "reject" tribe, although it would only be feasible at the Final 12 or 13. |

I'd start the game off with 20 people, who are told they have 3 different tribes to choose from. One has 5 members but has a wonderful beach near lots of
food, good shelter. A tribe of 6 with an adequate living environment, and a tribe of 7 with a crappy place to live. They would have to find these out in the
woods, first come, first served with 2 people being left out. They have riddle type clues to direct them, leading to the smarter players getting an advantage
to getting their first.
When you get to your camp you each pick a buff, one being a leader of each tribe, last person there may be stuck being the leader. The leaders meet Jeff along with their tribes where they're allowed to make one forced trade. Either from another tribe or one of the two that were left out. (giving this leader a lot of power) For the next few episodes the leaders always chooses who plays what in challenges. They'd probably have an episode where only 1 team is immune and the other two both go to tribal council. They would keep playing as three tribes until they all merge onto the same beach with 11 players left. They're told they're now becoming two tribes, the three leaders battle, and two of them get to pick their new teams, the third leader is eliminated from the game. (double boot episode) When it's down to about 7 members they become one tribe, but I imagine the old tribal lines would be strong right to the end. |

Merge at 10 like usual....have 2 episodes of merged tribe then split them into 2 tribes of 4 for one episode and 1 group of 4 win immunity. Then back as
individuals when they are down to 7

You know what? I don't think I'd've minded the rumored twist for Samoa based off the logo - that one tribe would live on land and the other on a
boat. It would have been much more interesting than the shitfest we've gotten this year.

how about just put the cursed pearls into play...other survivor shows do it within their seasons....everytime a player gets voted out he can give a white pearl
and a black pearl to any two players he chooses...the white pearl cast minus 1 vote at the next TC and the Black pearl casts additional 2 votes against a
player when they go to TC...and if they lose the damn pearls it'll be an additional 3 votes for them in the tribal council...this idea was already put into
play and it made and interesting turn seeing who the sacked castaways liked and disliked

There are two kinds of twists: One that try to bring in viewers (Race Twist, Old/Young/Male/Female, Men vs Women, All Stars etc) and twists to try and throw a
wrench into the games of the players and don't really have a "WOW" factor (Mutiny, early merge, late merge, etc).
For a "Bring in the viewers" type twist I think we are at the point where we can really do anything and see anything. After the outcast twist and men vs women and the race twist I feel like anything is fair game. To that end I could see them doing some type of Big Brother type twist where they know someone from the opposing tribe. They (EPMB) could argue "We've seen All Stars who have known each other....why not regular people". 9 people who are related to people on the other tribe either by blood, or by love. Jeff starts off by telling them "You all have someone related to you in some way on the opposing tribe...the question is whether or not you want to admit it...these people can be a help to you or hurt you in the long run...you decide...." And in that they could find some interesting pair offs....From (say) Tagi we have John and Mike, on Pagong there is Melanie, Johns wife, and Jane, Johns old girlfriend who is the sister of Mike. Idk...I could just see them going that route sooner than later. They could also capitalize on older twists that were not really capitalized on....like Old vs Young. We never really have an "Old vs Young" season as Thailand was not really designated like that and Panama also incorporated men vs women and only for like two episodes. I would want 9 older people vs 9 younger people. Like a Bob, Lex, Twila, Lillian, Ruth Marie, ect (like able bodied people) vs. a Rob C., Jaison, JT, Crystal, Sugar....Not just gray haired old people vs hot young studs and skanks but real people vs real people...they just happen to be separated by age For not really "WOW" ish type twists I have always wanted both tribes to live at the same beach. I think that would be fascinating. |

I posted this as an idea for an all stars season, but it would also work with new players. I am new here and did not know there was an "official"
thread for this kind of thing.
40 players, 4 Teams of 10, All forty contestants meet on day 1, By drawing colored stones they determine the four tribe "captains". These leaders then pick teams schoolhouse pick style. The "captains" would pick people based on who they thought were strong physical players to win team competitions. They have the first RC and compete as teams, with the first two teams to complete the challenge receiving an award. When they show up to the IC each team is told that the game will start as an individual game, and individual immunity is what they need. Each team competes separately and goes to tribal councils separately. The cycle repeats for the first five tribal councils, causing people to boot off their most physical players to try to stay in the game. When each team is down to 5 they show up to reward challenge and find that the reward will only go to one team, and that reward will be getting to pick the team you want to merge with and the beach you want to live at, and that new ten person team will get a merge feast and choose which camp the losing tribe has to live at, while the two teams left over merge and head back to their new camp empty handed. Some of the reward challenges would have to include looting the other camp or maybe even camp "ambassadors" would be sent to take extra supplies (such as the winning tribe gets a supply reward in a chest and when they get back to camp and open it they find a smaller supply box to give to another tribe and have to send an ambassador over to deliver the supplies. There would be a a lot of strategy involved in who to give the extra supplies and how many camps there are to visit). The game now starts as a typical twenty person survivor game. They would have to have maybe shorter cycles like a few one and two day cycles between tribal councils to make it go faster. But I can imagine the format if handled like this would cause the most strategic thinkers that work good as a team and individually to be in the end game. |

I still say that the Cursed Pearls twist from Survivor Philippines is a good idea...since most of the castaways bitch a lot then why not give them something of
a payback when they get voted out...haha

Men vs. Women vs. Men & Women - Is there a stronger sex, or will working together overcome the age old question? And yes, I know its been posted in here before but it is a very good idea and one that should've been implemented on Vanuatu as opposed to just recycling the Amazon with All-Stars numbers. |

I hope they never implement any of the twists from Israeli or Phillipino Survivors. Keeping it simple is the way to go.
