I still have it in me to hate Kari, only slightly less than I used to. She is a pig and yes a tragic creature, but a pig nonetheless. I agree MS, her presentation is very uncomfortable to witness- especially when it's pointed out to her and she still cannot seem to not smile. ICYH- Keep in mind they are inpatient. They probably attend several groups during the day as well as individual stuff. We are only seeing 1 hr/week. I have to believe that they are receiving many more services than we see in the episodes. Adhering to structure is a HUGE part of any recovery and I am quite sure that there are tons of things they are doing that we don't see. I also believe it's a storyline and it makes for good tv so they will drag the storyline out. |

I'm sure you're right. The way it's edited makes it look like they hang around all day, and only one group session and a possible one-on-one
session per day to break up the monotony & agony.

I agree Kari Ann is a bitch but Dr Drew has a point - she's acting like a 13 year old because her development was arrested at that age.
So... she's a 13 year old bitch. No matter what, though, staff members can't lay hands on the patients. That's why I could never get a job in a place like that - I would have wanted to slap Kari Ann's smug face on Day 1. I did cry, though, when James read the letter to his father. Duncan calling James a knob is uncalled for. Jenni has a right to be pissed. However, James did NOTHING to you personally and if you really have a problem with it, address it with him instead of talking behind his back like a catty school girl. I think it's pretty telling that Kari Ann didn't want to go into group late because whenever she tries to join them they treat her like shit. You don't ostracize someone and then expect them to not keep doing the same thing. The way Jenni was talking when she said something like "We have SOME people who just don't follow the rules." Why backhand insult? She's there so just say her name. All those cunts are doing is encouraging her bratty behavior by treating her like shit. At least Kendra, of all fucking people, was mature enough to admit she was wrong. Phil was right though, the whole "in" clique is fucking nauseating. Overall there just isn't enough Amber this season and she was like one of the big stories of last season.

In the battle between that little bitch KA and Selma, I'm always on Selma's side- still, she absolutely deserved to be fired. No way in hell can any
institution allow staff members to be putting their hands on patients. I blame the administration as well- it was bullshit that KA's antics were allowed to
carry on day after day after day. What the fuck was to stop her from being a fucking asshole to Selma every damned day when everything the little +$%@ does
goes unpunished.
Amazingly enough- I came out of the episode seeth hating Jenny. Fuck you you fake little attention whore bitch. All that shit with James was way over the fucking top and li'l ms. porno reaped it for everything she fucking could. She acts as though what she is going through is more important than anyone elses shit. Nicole pissed me off this episode too- on the other hand, at least she did SOMETHING this episode. As much as Duncan cracks me up, his annoyed queen routine does get a little old. |
