Todd played better than her in China and Cirie and Parvati played better than her in Micronesia. She lost both times because she sucked. -Bob is the worst winner ever. At least Amber had something of a strategy. Bob literally had nothing. -Palau is one of my favorite seasons ever. I can understand why it's hated, but I don't understand why people say it was boring. Palau was without a doubt 10x more entertaining than Guatemala, and 20x more entertaining than Vanuatu, if predictable. -China, Micronesia and Gabon were the strongest chain of consecutively great seasons in Survivor history. -Neither Fiji nor Cook Islands were boring seasons to me. What made them less great were the loathsome cast. -In 19 seasons, Survivor has never had a truly BAD season. Just less great ones. Though, Thailand comes pretty close.

Palau had Tominator, Ulong's pathetic challenge history, Ian quitting at the final three, Janu quitting to save Stephenie...I thought it was consistently entertaining. I kind of thought Stephenie was a boring "villain" in Guat. She wasn't bitchy enough.

So they might have merged at 10. That would have deprived us of the greatest tribal switch in the history of survivor and its epic consequences. Instead we'd have Twatwaffle and Tom set in motion their pregame plan (Russell wasn't the first to plan on dragging weak women to the end and burn them when they were no longer useful). People rolled over for JT to win, complimented him at every oppurtunity and voted for him to win unanimously. Only a hand full of people actually liked Amber, She barely won by votes that were not for her to win but for Rob to lose. Apples and oranges, much? I know this place is pro-vagina and anti-penis, but let's come back down to Earth for God' sake.

If Amber was so much better as a social player, three of her four votes would not have been for the lesser of two evils. JT was liked by all of the jurors. No one quit for him, but they were consciously handing him the game. In All Stars they were being manipulated, and it wasn't by Amber.

Let's add another fact to this list: Amber had NO strategy whatsoever other than rely on her boyfriend to get her to the end. Even the whole "She convinced Rob and Kathy to keep her" argument is bullshit. Rob set that plan in motion by getting into Lex's head earlier. She added a little bit of fuel to that fire, at best.

I hate BOTH Amber and JT and think both of them aren't very good winners. JT only had people falling over for him because he was Southern. Coach would talk time and time again about how he respected JT as a Southern man blah blah blah. He also benefitted from a tribe that was self-destructive, and that self-destructiveness was not his doing at all. Stephen did all the work while JT reaped the benefits, just like how Rob did all the work but Amber reaped the benefits. But there are some differences. Amber was in the tightest Final 2 alliance in history, so close that Rob took her to the end despite the fact that he had a much better shot against Jenna. JT needed to rely on immunity both at F4 and F3 otherwise he would've been out. Not needing to rely on immunity >>> needing to rely on immunity. Amber set herself up in a Final 2 with someone she could easily beat. JT could've done that if he were smart and took Erinn, but he took Stephen, who was far from a sure win, and it only turned into a sure win because Stephen gave a terrible FTC, which JT had no idea of knowing at the time. Amber showed she could function without Rob at F10 where she overcame getting screwed majorly by a twist. She convinced Kathy to keep her on her own. JT never did anything on his own. On the contrary, when both Stephen and JT knew that Brendan wanted to take JT to the end, JT retardedly went along with that plan, voting out someone who would've had a lot of power, and said person wanted him to win. AND he knew that, but he still voted Brendan out. Smart for Stephen, stupid for JT. JT also wanted to go to the Final 5 (at the time) with Stephen, Coach, Tyson and Debbie. Stephen (wisely) changed that plan at the next TC by voting out Tyson, not JT. JT wasn't the one thinking ahead in that situation. Let's also not forget the fact that JT got a golden edit and Amber got a terrible one. JT and Amber played really similar games. Amber just did it better. JT only relied on Stephen to get him to the end, so that goes both ways. All of the post-show interviews from the contestants say that Amber is the one who convinced Kathy. Rob may have convinced Lex, but Lex left it up to Kathy, and AMBER convinced Kathy to vote out Jerri.
