Aww they didn't win, but I'm glad they got to finish the race. And 2nd place is definitely something to be very proud of..
I'm so unbelievably happy that these two managed to come back after falling behind early in the leg and remain calm. I'm really really glad that on this final leg, they were supportive of each other and didn't bicker. Seriously.. very well done, they lost to a worthy team, but should not feel ashamed. Their final words at the finish line were so sweet, and I'm glad they made it onto TAR to show everyone what they could do. Definitely one of my favourite teams of all time. Best of luck to anything they pursue in the future. Sam & Dan <3 ...and now they can come and post here! |

I actually didn't mind this final leg. I was just a little bummed that it didn't have one of those final memory tests incorporating all the places they
went to because I'm sure Sam would've been great at that. And good job to Dan for realizing how much height mattered in that Cirque du Soleil task.
Ahh another in a long line of my favourite teams who have come in 2nd place... Colin/Christie, Romber, Eric/Jeremy, Dustin/Kandice, Ron/Christina and now Sam/Dan. What a great little club they have <3 |

I'm very happy for their placement, because with their edit, it's the best I could have hoped for (I never bothered to get my hopes up for them).
Now they can say they never once finished in last place (and saying they were the runners-up is good, too). |
