So the word going around is that the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl will be Boise State vs TCU.

To put it into simple terms: The BCS is nothing but COWARDS!!!! It should be a great game, but these teams should be playing against the bigger schools to create interesting matchups. Instead, the BCS protects the big schools from being embarrassed by the mid majors.

Of course they are. They don't want to take a chance that another one of their "Crown Jewel" teams (*cough*cough* Chokelahoma) will embarrass themselves against an allegedly "lesser" opponent.

there was a rumor that iowa was actually going to the fiesta but that appears to be wrong now

championship: alabama / texas
fiesta: boise / tcu
orange: iowa / gt
rose: ohio st / oregon
sugar: florida / cincy

supposedly, at least.

FSU / WVU is confirmed for the gator bowl i guess, sucks that bobby bowden's final blowout means a 6-6 fsu team goes to a good bowl

iowa state (6-6) has been picked for the insight bowl over mizzou (8-4, beat iowa state) who is going to end up playing against navy in the texas bowl

Yeah, the Sun Bowl got the short end of the stick in terms of partnerships after FedEx, Citi, Nokia, and Tostitos. What's worse is that they've scheduled Baby Bash (who?) as halftime entertainment this year after Los Lonely Boys, Rhianna, and the Village People the past three years. Its better than a few years ago, though, when it was sponsored by Vitalis.

Weird, you can schedule 13 if you play @Hawaii (See Navy, and a bunch of WAC schools all have 13 games). You can actually make a lot of money by playing @Hawaii by scheduling your 13th game in addition to the Hawaii game.
