So I've decided to rank the Hells Kitchen Seasons... So I'll start off with last place: 6. Hell's Kitchen 5 Best quote: "I also teach manners chef."- Colleen Best Character: Robert I have enjoyed every season of Hell's Kitchen, but somebody had to be last. I chose 5 for a couple reasons: a. It was pretty predictable by episode 4 or 5 that the final 2 would be Danny and Paula. They were the only ones that rarely made mistakes during service, and all the other chefs were either atrocious (Lacey, J) or just okay (Gio, Robert, Andrea.) b. There wasn't really anybody to root for. Danny and Paula weren't despicable, but they weren't really overtly likeable. Lacey was annoying as hell, Ben was full of himself, J was boring, Gio got annoying at times, and Andrea and Carol's bitching got fucking too catty to like either of them. The only person that I could see people rooting for was Robert, because he was entertaining and an underdog. The only other person who was cool was Ji. Unfortunately, she left because she fucked up her ankle, so we were left with Robert and either boring, unlikeable, or non-existent people. c. The battle of the sexes thing is so over-done at this point. I will discuss this later on. Though I did enjoy this season, it is my least favorite of the 6. Yea, but I agree that this season should be last, and I definitely thought Paula should've won over Danny, but I guess Ramsay wanted to continue his male - female - male - female winners pattern (which he ended the next season D=). Oh and Ji was robbed majorly.. why'd they bring Robert back over her?? My guess for the next one out.. Spoiler [+] Season 4... clearly.. there's only been two seasons with female winners and Season 2 >>> Season 4, imo. My predictions/opinions: Spoiler [+] 6. Season 5 5. Season 4 4. Season 1 3. I ended up rooting for Paula at the end just to cap off a boring season with an INV winner, and they referred to her as "the lovely Brazilian" or something in the finale, which was hilariously random. 4 is my next least favorite, which was only slightly better than 5. 6 was a step in the right direction but not by much. Posts: 137 (12/06/09 01:47 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Next ranking... 5. Hell's Kitchen 4 Best Line: ? Best Character: Matt Ugh. This was probably the least talented pool of cooks. Period. When the final 6 came around, I didn't think any of them deserved a restaurant. Jen was loud, annoying, but entertaining. Cory was always bitching, and Christina was kind of elitist. Bobby was as arrogant as anyone can get, and Matt was, well, we'll get to him.This left one person, Petrozza. Petrozza is perhaps the nicest person to ever be on a reality show. He was such a cool dude, putting himself up for nomination because he didn't want to play Ben and Bobby's game. Unfortunately, he lost in the finals to Christina, topping off a mediocre season. Then there's Matt. Matt was a bumbling, weird, and overall, stupid person. But he was so much fun to watch. On the first episode, he made Chef Ramsay almost sick with his raw quail-egg, raw venison, white chocolate, caviar, and capers. Holy shit, doesn't that sound terrible. Then he kind of disappeared, then he served raw chicken during service, and was nominated the next 2 services. Then he was switched to the Red Team, and made the best risotto ever in Hell's Kitchen. He then made some speech, and it was ridiculously hilarious. He subsequently chopped his finger into pancetta, and complained about a migraine for a whole service, and he was sent packing, with this colorful limerick: "There once was a boy named Matt. Whose kitchen performance fell flat. He was far from neat, Miserable on meat, So I kicked him out, and that's that." Epic. But other than Matt make me cringe and laugh at the same time, this season was kind of boring, and the chef's ability fell flat, like Matt.

Season 4 was pretty bad, but I was cheering for Christina/Corey, so the ending was acceptable for me.. I think one of the great quotes comes from the premiere... Ramsay tasting Petrozza's signature dish asking what it's called, to which Petrozza replies 'Hen in a Pumpkin' <3

I wish they didn't ignore her role as a sous-chef so much in this past season...

They need Maryann from seasons 1-3 back.

Although I've been lucky enough to keep myself unspoiled about it to this point. I'm gonna have to be really careful in this thread... No real complaint on season 5's placing. Surprised 6 is still in the running. :P I've prety much always watched the show more for the trainwreck factor than anything else, and while season 4 was probably mediocre overall talent-wise in compared to other seasons (Christina <333333, was rooting for her all season long, but she wasn't on the level of the first 3 winners), it did have Matt, Jen and other trainwrecks. Heather's probably the best person they've ever had on the show, but it was obvious she'd win since the first episode and overall season 2 just wasn't that exciting compared to some of the other early ones. Season 1 <3333333, particularly the final 3.

Hell's Kitchen 1 (couldn't find picture of season 1) Best Quote- "You're a plank."- Chef Ramsay Best Character- Dewberry Let me start off by saying this: like most first seasons, this was different. Ramsay pulled no punches and was way meaner this season, as evidenced by the quote. On the signature dish challenge, Chris presented his dish to chef, saying, "It's salmon cooked on a cedar plank," to which chef replied, "you're a plank." For no reason at all, Ramsay insulted the guy. It was so elementary and subtle it made me die laughing for about an hour. Anyhow, this season was way better watching when it originally aired, when you didn't know what would happen. Basically, I was really entertained by Ramsay's antics, but upon re-watch, it's no big deal. Basically, it's replay value is so-so. But it is still a great season. There were a good amount of people to root for. Elsie was a sweethart, Dewberry was lovable (yet incompetent,) and Ralph, Mike, Jessica, and Jimmy were all acceptable. Plus, there were train wrecks like Jeff, Chris, and Andrew. Chris was a pompous executive chef, who fell flat in his performance. Andrew was whiny and annoying. And Jeff had a kidney stone and complained a lot. There are two other knocks against it: Mike was the easy choice to win when he was outside "talking" to the billboard of Ramsay's face glaring upon the backyard, telling him he would win. It was obvious foreshadowing. Also, the camera angles and what not weren't that great and it was very grainy and it looked like it was shot with surveillance cameras. And the next one... Spoiler [+] Season 2 <3 When Keith addresses why he thinks Ramsay kept Virginia over him at that season being out.. it's probably my favourite
