S3 had the woman who held up the store and shot Lynette (she insisted Orson killed his wife).
S4 had the crazy affair lady.
S5 had the criminal psychiatrist.
And now we have the blackmailing nurse.

I love how the person causing trouble to the "main mystery" characters always dies in these catastrophe episodes.

I think the five are: Pilot, wife, Mona and Lynette's twins. Wonder why Carlos wasn't in this episode.

I don't want Karl or Lawyer Gay to die. They better not have. They're the hottest dilfs on this show. Fuck everyone else.

I liked the episode. Definitely better than S5's fire, probably on par with S4's tornado, and definitely below S3's shooting. It bulk of the
episode was great, but the climax just sucked.
The only thing that irked me about this episode is that it seemed like we have this assortment of plots which could be really interested to see if they carry them out, but very difficult to resolve without losing or demoralizing major characters (Lynette's family is fucked for money, Bolen's are obviously public, Lynette/Gaby will never stop fighting). And, of course, this plane comes around, and deux ex machinas for all of them! Lynette saved Gaby's kid. No more fighting, which I guess was getting old unless it started to get to the next level. Lynette lost the babies--most likely. No more money crunching (well, almost), which I guess we've seen enough already over the years. Mona died--most likely. No more Bolen problems, which has happened every time any semi-problem seems to unearth. It's just like, damn, I was hoping we would stop this going back to square one shit and start making some serious progress with storylines this season. The only one that might actually change is Bree/Karl/Orsen, but if they end up killing off Orsen, deux ex machina for that too, which sucks, because the divorce battle and how he tries to enact his revenge would be epic, especially considering how well mannered he was this episode all in all. I can't complain, I enjoyed the episode, just so predictable. ETA: Edited 27 million times since my paragraph breaks kept disappearing, thanks Yuku

They didn't show the Lynette hitting into the present that theyve been showing all week long. I guess itll be saved for the "flashback" in the next episode when Housewives returns in January? And I'm thinking were going to see Katharines storyline play out. |

Overall I think that this season has been pretty good including this episode. I sure hope that Orson goes. His story and character has been pretty pathetic and
annoying. I don't know what more they could do with it. I'd like to see Karl hang around for a while.

Just rewatched the ending and noticed that Orson wears a watch, and the house arm didn't have a watch
I like Orson, but I'd rather watch a year of Bree & Karl as newlyweds |

Yeah, I wish they'd get rid of Orson too. Someone said it earlier in this thread-Kyle Maclachan (sp) and Dana are completely wasted on this show. They
could be better used on another show.

After tonight I could see Katherine being the killer. I mean, both girls that were assaulted looked kinda like younger versions of Katherine. Same hair color
at least.
She could be so crazy she's trying to "knock out the competition" |

I'm glad Katherine didn't die. I didn't think Marc Cherry (is that his name?) would kill her off since he originally wanted Dana to be an original
housewife (I think Bree). I'm interested to see what they have in store for her next. I'm sure she'll get out (wasn't she committed?) and be
even crazier.

Where did she come up with 67 thousand. That's so random.
And Bree never came out of that building and that was a womans hand in the cottage. |

That hand had to belong to Karl... Bree and Orson's hands both had wedding rings on them. That hand didn't.

I'm thinking its Karl. Only because Bree never got to respond to his proposal. If Lynette's unborn child didn't already fill up the death quota, I
would have guessed that both Karl and Orson died. It seems as if they were really portraying Orson in an uncharacteristically sympathetic light tonight.
Usually, that means that the character dies soon.

I thought it looked like a woman's hand too. It could be Bree's-it doesn't mean she is dead.
I couldn't get a good look at her hand any other time during the party to see if it had rings, but maybe after Orson agreed to a divorce she took her rings off. I hope that it is Orson who died though. He was starting to get a little pathetic and I went from feeling sorry for him to thinking Bree should go ahead and cheat on him. But he hasn't been around since day 1. It's probably Karl which is a bummer, I would have liked to see him and Bree go public...see that play out. |

Uh Marc Cherry, you said Katherine's obsession with Mike was supposed to be 'fun'. Stabbing yourself isn't exactly a light-hearted roomp of a
plot.
