I had no idea Heather (Brittany) tried out for SYTYCD! Makes sense though now that we know she was a backup dancer for Beyonce.

I just turned my brother and sister into Gleeks. They made fun of me before until I made them sit through 8-9 straight episodes of it. Now they are Gleeks like
me :)

Woot! Coach Tanaka was on my flight from Vancouver to LAX tonight. I told him how much I loved the show and left as soon as I could so I didn't come across
as more of a blathering idiot than 2 sentences allow.

I had seen him a few times on the flight, he was about 10 rows up from me, but wasn't completely sure it was him, and then as I walked past him outside baggage claim, I just said "Excuse me, are you an actor?" When he said yes, I said "OMG! You play Ken Tanaka on Glee!" And he said yes. Then I just said thanks for the show, it gives me hope, shook his hand, and left. That's got to be a wierd feeling to have people come up to you who "know" you, but you don't know them. So I just high-tailed it out of there... |

Very few shows ever are >>>> Pushing Daisies. However, I am happy to report Glee is one of them.
I have spoken. |

SardonicallyIrrelevant wrote:Dead Like Me was better than pushing Daisies, but not by much. Pushing Daisies BARELY beats Glee, but it is helped by having Kristin Chenoweth every week instead of just once, soon to be twice. BUT if the stories of Idina Menzel being interested in playing Rachel's mom are true, then that might change. But the pilot of Dead Like Me is possibly the best episode of any TV show ever. |

On a lighter note, here's a cap of Sue's reaction to seeing New Directions on TV:

I wish Idina Menzel were about five years older, then I would believe she could be Rachel's mom. Even pretending that Lea Michele is Rachel's age,
Idina is still too young to be playing her mom. I would prefer a cool aunt or long lost sister role.

But the pilot of Dead Like Me is possibly the best episode of any TV show ever. That show just gets me good. Oddly enough, I think the BEST episode of the entire series is Nighthawk, which is a clip-show of sorts. The mood and feeling of that episode is incredibly powerful to me. And Rube/George interactions like the one at the end of that are so perfect. |
