TAR 15 - Worst season ever???!!!

Remove this ad Best thing about the season is that they went to so many places I really love, from Vietnam to Cambodia, and Thailand and Prague. All are great places, I felt homesick at each of those stops. Now, for the contestants? They all pretty much sucked, pretty much.

Posts: 356 (11/29/09 09:15 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	One of the worst seasons. The teams are boring. The locations have mostly been visited before (enough of fucking Europe). It's been completely uncompetitive, so its probably a Meghan Cheyne blowout. Nothing really notable has happened.

(Kevin/Drew, Joe/Bill, David/Mary, Uchenna/Joyce and even Teri/Ian) 2) The ending was hugely disappointing. But then again, most TAR seasons have this... 3) The last 4 legs with just 4 teams was draggy and was rather boring 4) Dustin/Kandice were eyecandy and were good and inspiring F/F team to watch but they were kinda dull as well, unfortunately. To be honest, I still felt it was a good race by far. Definitely above average and was better than the bleh-seasons (TAR4,8,9) and maybe some of the okay ones (TAR7,10,13,14) but it wasn't top-notch either. (TAR1,2,3,5,6,12 are top-notch) OKKK I'm totally not going to acknowledge what you think

I know Meghan and Cheyne winning seems lame but at least they've showed a hint of emotion as oppose to the real robots that are TK and Rachel. And I love the finale. Ericka's meltdown = Reality TV Gold.

I seriously don't understand how it even happens that people this boring can be approved to appear on television. And yet it happens with at least a few teams every season, and invariably the most boring one goes on to win. I hate the people at TAR casting so very much.

The problem with boarding a plane every leg is you end up with a TAR 10 situation where everyone's bunched at the beginning of the leg, rendering the previous leg's performance useless plus it offers less of a view of a country's culture (especially if you then decide to do shitty tasks in that country, like in Finland)

Therefore the winner of each leg can't be too far ahead of the last team to advance to the next leg. If the winner is too far ahead, Phil wouldn't have time to travel from the end of one leg to the end of the next leg. For the last challenge, they should have something better than counting $1 million in poker chips. This challenge is too similar to the one where they have to gather enough gold. Maybe a "memory" challenge like the surfboard one from last year would have been better.

Re-watch family edition and get back to us. Who knows, you may still hold to your statement after re-watching it, but I think people forget how bad family edition was. In other news, even though I've only seen 50-60% of this season, it's a MILLION times better than TAR14 (the reason why I held back on TAR15). I don't think it's as good as TAR13, and it'd be impossible to even reach the standards of TAR12, but it still seemed like an alright season.
