I'm so out of sync with everyone. I heard a lot of people call that episode great, and I thought it was one of the worst ones this season

You know, as much as this shows storylines make no sense, I'm not finding a politician risking his job and family to fuck an 18 year old leggy blonde THAT
much of a stretch.

It's not the fucking that's surprising. It's the leaving his wife that's surprising.

I think he genuinely was leaving his wife because she set up that "heroic rescue". Fucking Serena is just a fringe benefit...

I get the congressman sleeping with the 18 year old whore, but not the leaving his wife part. He'd never leave his wife, at least not for a college drop out/never was. For one, Serena is a Marilyn in ever sense of the definition and his wife is a Jackie. And there's no way you can positively spin an affair with a teenager in politics, even if you're only 30. I can't believe I'm on Team Jenny, but I am. Eric is being super ridiculous. His boyfriend was right to dump him. Why the fuck is he so concerned with girl drama. I know he's the gay and all, but his obsession with the girl politics just seems petty. Granted, this storyline has made the character infinitely more interesting. But unless he pulls off a gay She's All That the storyline has no foundation. He needs to befriend a rival Mean Girl pronto! And I guess I'm the only one that wants a Blair/Chuck/Vanessa love triangle. Chuck seems to be the only character that makes her interesting. |

The fact that Chuck even looked her way once is the only redeeming factor about Vanessa (outside of Gina Torres playing her mother, of course).

Not a horrible episode.
The good parts: Minimal Vanessa More Chuck than usual Trip/Serena over...at least for now, he'll probably be stalking her in the new year Nate wasn't that bad bad: No Dorota Not too much Blair The Jenny storyline went nowhere really, I was thinking wtf when Eric confessed to the bag thing, and then so did she |

so, it's on hiatus for awhile
Chuchbass looked great just knew that Congressman was a weenie hope Nancy Grace gets on his ass and, no way would the news believe that story they love to bring down the jerks his wife is too evil to believe and once again someone is able to just walk into the apartment. do we know who that was in the cemetery? |

It was
This episode annoyed me. Did we have to make Trip be the devil so Nate "the hero" could jump in and save her? And why does she fall in love so easy. This girl drives me nuts! Sick of the pulling apart Rufus and Lily. They're finally together and I know tptb can write something now that they are together (besides the long lost son debacle). Lastly, Vanessa was looking hella bad on that show. Is she preggers in real life? Girlfriend was looking like she put on some holiday weight... or something. |

I thought it was so odd when Nate was "advising" Dan of his options and he pointed out that Willow was a drama major, then made some comment about
actresses being wild in bed or something. Does he not remember that Dan JUST ended a relationship with a movie star? I would think that Dan knows as much if
not more about fucking actresses than Nate does...

not to mention that Nate is urging Dan to get with Vanessa (HIS EX!!!!!)
I guess when Nate gets Serena they can all sit around talk for hours..... |

Characters act on this show as if they're like the main character in Memento -- no apparent knowledge of something that went on 30 minutes (or last
episode) ago.

No, sugarrhill just copies what they say on the shows because he has no original thoughts.

I loved Tripp's wife bringing up Serena's past of being a drug-addicted whore.

Why did Serena's dad write in a letter to Serena about being alone in a room with Lily?
Cannot stand anyone on this show anymore besides Blair, Chuck, Lily, Rufus, Dorota, and Jenny (most ppl hate het but I think Taylor Momsen is fanastic. Annoying, yes, but a typical 16 year old girl...) |
