Posts: 109 (12/08/09 02:56 PM) More Recent Posts	what I hope happens: After Dave gets the boot, Mick/Jaison/Monica/Brett decide to blindside Russell assuming he won't think to play the idol. This somehow gets back to Russell and he idols Jaison. Then Russell/Natalie/Shambo bring in Brett to vote off Mick but Mick finds the replanted idol this time and uses it to knock out Shambo (Russell luckily for his sake, had immunity) Mick is the next to go at F5, but he wins immunity and the new three of B/N/R vote out Monica. Then Mick wins final immunity and Brett (who betrayed Mick so he refuses to create a tie) goes home leaving the final three. Because he gave the jury what they wanted by idoling Shambo and after his impressive immunity finish under duress, Mick gets the win with Russell only getting two votes (from John and Shambo) and Natalie only getting a vote from Brett. Mick gets Erik, Laura, Jaison, Monica, Kelly and Dave. what most likely happens: Foa Foa sticks together, Shambo leaves early for doing something stupid, and a predictable finale except for the final vote (which is hopefully close)

JP has always made a big deal how winning survivor is about more than any one factor (i.e. strategy, social or physical) and that the winner needs to have a balance. Russ has been all strategy that is one dimensional. His social game consists of threatening anyone who butts heads with him and he has been a non-factor in challanges to this point. His one skill has been in finding the HII. As far as strategy he has been three steps ahead of everyone since the first day. However it is only a matter of time before the peeps at the Ponderosa exchange notes and since they are obviously looking for someone to "blame" for their demise they are going to conclude that all roads are going to lead to Russ. If the remaining three are all FF then you can bet that the former Galu on the jury are not going to give their vote to the one they find most unlikable. Compare this to Natalie who has enough of a social game to win over the women of Galu in 3 days (they trusted her "info" when she told them that Eric was targeting Monica which caused them to switch their vote to Eric), she was a contender in the last IC, she rocked in the platform swing reward challange AND she has been in on making strategic moves with FF helping to facilitate them. If she is in the final three, she will get the votes of Kelly, Monica and Laura.... Mick wasn't much of a leader but seems to be stepping up to the plate. He has won one IC and as seen in the promos is starting to think end-game scenarios. Unlike Russ he has played a social game and I can see him as the one who will most likely get the votes of Jaison and Shambo. Also recall that Mick will bring it out in the final TC that Russ is rich and bragged to him that he "didn't need the money" I'm not sure who Eric, Dave or Brett will vote for but I think they will go between Mick and Nat people they would "like" in the real world versus someone like Russ who they have nothing in common with.

It depends on how excatly she is voted off. For all we know, Russ could vote with Shambo that night, knowing they already have the numbers without him to take her out. Then, I could see her voting Russ at the end.

I even think that it is possible that Jaison and Mick try to warn her about Russ but she in an unusual fit of stubbornness refuses to listen. I would have to disagree with you on both of those I dont understand how anybody could want Mick to win, I mean really he has done nothing remotely interesting or anything that would even make me think that he deserved to win the game. He is basically just a big bucket of nothingness taking form of a decent looking male. Russ and Nat both deserve to win over him and should both be placed higher than him.

Posts: 110 (12/09/09 02:32 AM) More Recent Posts	basically the point I was trying to make with my earlier post is that if Mick and Jaison just sit back and do nothing they have no shot to win the game. Natalie is more likeable and Russell has played a far superior game, what the hell can either possibly say at final tribal to warrant a vote. No wonder Mick supposedly pulls an Amanda at Final tribal, he has nothing credible or interesting to say about his weak, under the radar gameplay. The smartest move Mick and Jaison can collectively make is to blindside Russell at F7 (a la James, Ozzy, Jason) when he won't think to play the idol. Will it potentially create a chaotic situation that leads to their demise, perhaps. However, there is just as good a chance of that happening at the hands of Russell, which may already be the case for Jaison. Hypothetically, you knock out Russell at F7 and with no one else to turn to it shouldn't be hard to convince Nat to rejoin foa foa, just claim that russell was out for himself and would have stabbed her in the back for Shambo. Monica and Brett wouldn't draw rocks for Shambo so she goes 6th and then you have numbers to get to F3. The jury would be thrilled that Russ and Shambo are out and would respect Mick and Jaison for a great strategic move. How can you realistically expect to win without making moves when your direct competition is an omnipotent-like leader and a southern belle with awe shucks charm. Mick is such a pussy he won't follow through on his mistrust of Russell. Obviously based on spoilers Russ never gets blindsided, but however farfetched, the scenario I proposed is improbable but not impossible. Last Edited By: Chinchilla23 12/09/09 02:47 AM. I agree, but deserving has got nothing to do with it. The players don't play the way that we viewers watch. The simple truth of Survivor is that the most liked (or, often, least hated) finalist wins. Jurors pick their winner, and then rationalize gameplay, retrospectively. Sometimes that means the "best" player happens to be the one who wins. Sometimes not.

Although I dont think Sugar was given nearly as much airtime as Russel. I dont even think Coach got as much as Russel lol. But maybe it just feels that way. Anyway.... I also notice Jeff hasn't (that I know of) done much harping about how great the winner is. Like he was with JT. Youd think if Russel won Jeff would be going nuts with happyness. Heck I think he'd be semi-happy if Natalie won because he seems to talk about her in the bloggs. ....So maybe Mick does still have a chance too lol.
